"A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better.
This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle."

"Rural location perfect get away from the world for the new year. Good location to explore the beautiful Northumberland countryside & coastline. Clean, cosy & comfortable, everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The log burner was amazing. Thank you to Gillan & Stuart "

"The property was spotless and very homely. Everything you need was there and also lovely fresh flowers, milk and biscuits on arrival. There was even treats for the dogs. The staff were lovely that we had met also. You definitely need to take a torch as its very dark at night trying to walk the dogs."

"This was the best place we stayed in England. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.
We bought oven ready meals and cooked them. Made a salad. Good times.
Lovely garden in back overlooking Pub.
It was easy walking to grocery and Pub. "
