Great place! Nice host. Perfect location for outdoor adventures, great views, peace & quiet, and maybe a little seafood.

Welaka St John’s River Home

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Welaka St John’s River home. The home had most everything needed, except a hairdryer. Fishing rods were on the property and the dock was used by our two local area teen grandchildren. They lost several worms, snagged a watermelon and watched a baby alligator. The setting was beautiful.

Great Stay in laid back Welaka

My and my buddy stayed a week for a retirement fishing trip. The accommodations were spot on and we enjoyed the week fishing and relaxing on the St Johns River. Raymond the owner is a great guy and authentic….genuine good dude. Welaka was just our pace.

Relaxing Getaway

We just wanted a clean place to stay on the river and this place fit the bill. It’s not fancy, but comfortable and well equipped with an awesome view of the river. The men loved fishing right off the dock and caught bass, a manta ray, blue crab and catfish. We had a wonderful stay. Host is friendly and responsive.

Amazing View, Fantastic Location!!

Second time we have had friends & family stay at this location. Absolutely a fantastic choice. Quiet, relaxed community with a river view to die for. Great dock & boat lift. Great value for the cost. Would highly recommend this location to others.

A Place to Relax

If you want to slow down and relax, this is the place. The river is only a few feet from the home and you can enjoy the view from the dock, deck, or living room. We have been multiple times and cannot recommend the place highly enough. And now Welaka feels fully opened up and there are multiple venues to dine and drink on the river. Go and you won’t regret it.
