"A great stay at this hotel. Lovely comfortable room, great staff and a delicious breakfast. Handy for Burford Village. Our visit was to visit The Farmer's Dog pub which is approx. 3 miles away. We used a local taxi firm and were charged £20 each way. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"We had a fabulous weekend. The cottage was very easy to find, a short walk from the free car park and a stroll to the main street and many pubs, shops and eateries in Burford. The cottage is cosy but spacious for a family, with a well equipped kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms. We ate at the Farmer's Dog, the Bull and the Lamb Inn, all of which were great. "Everything was excellent except the room servicing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and meal service was v good. The only disappointments were the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The room needed vacuuming and the loo and shower needed a good clean. Also, cups, glasses and tea hadn’t been replenished. Oh, and when we returned from sightseeing on Sat evening we couldn’t get a space in the carpark as it was full of pub visitors. Would be good if they had spaces...

"Upon arrival we were given a room beside the elevator and main door to the floor. The room smelled and the door from the elevator area would bang every time someone came through. We asked for another room and the less than pleasant staff member did give us a new room which we were appreciative of until we walked in. The overpowering smell of chemical cleaner was intense. The window which could not be opened was of no use. After 5 minutes our eyes were burning, my husband who has no sense of...

"We had a fantastic meal, nights stay and breakfast at The Feathered Nest Inn, it was a great experience. Right from the start we felt welcomed, the room was spotless and the views overlooking the countryside was idyllic. The food was incredible, some of the best food we have ever eaten and to top of off, breakfast was just as good. We are already planning our visit back!"
