  • Esta hermosa y nueva construcción, cabaña construida a mano con registro completo, se encuentra en un entorno rural tranquilo, con vistas a un lago privado con excelente pesca. La cabina cuenta con 1 BR con un altillo y camas con capacidad para 6 personas con 2 sofás y mucho espacio en el piso y la cubierta para sacos de dormir. Tiene pisos de madera hechos a mano y azulejos, un baño principal con bañera de hidromasaje y ducha separada. Lavadora / secadora y cocina completamente equipada.

Perfect Off Grid Vacation

We enjoyed the property and all the outdoor activities, the water was beautiful and a perfect temperature. Our twin 4 year olds loved the loft area and jetted tub in the bathroom.

The cabin was clean, had plenty of supplies (bedding, towels, etc.), and the property was beautiful. We really appreciated the use of the watercraft. Andy was a great host, and super easy to get ahold of. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Spring break get away

Had fun time staying there. Just has lots of lady bugs and box elder bugs there, but as long as your not scared to of lady bugs . Its beautiful and fun kayaks and canoes to use..i would go agsin some day.

Beautiful cabin and amazing porch for morning coffee in a rocking chair! Cabin was super clean with an AMAZING jet tub for relaxing. Close to Backbone State Park and fun shopping in Elkader. Thanks Andy for the lovely week!

Family Time

Beautiful and peaceful area. Cozy get away and all enjoyed fishing and family time. I didn't see that no blankets are provided so make sure you bring a top blanket otherwise will be sleeping with just sheets.

Peaceful, clean and welcoming!

Perfect cabin for a weekend stay or week long stay! All the amenities for a quiet stay & away from every day technology. Within 15-20 minutes to small, quaint towns including grocery, restaurants and small town shopping. Communication with host was convenient and very responsive. Thank you, we’ll be sure to recommend and be back!

Relaxing Weekend

We picked this property for a relaxing sisters weekend! The cabin was what we expected, clean and cute. The teenagers loved the small lake and the kayaks and canoes provided, host was super friendly and nice. A great weekend of unplugging and spending time together.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! The cabin was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally clean from the moment we arrived. The wraparound porch was one of our favorite features, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.The private lake made our stay even more memorable. We loved taking the kayaks out each day and spending time on the water. It was exactly the kind of quiet, relaxing escape we were looking for.One of the biggest reasons we booked this cabin was because it is pet-friendly, and we were so happy to finally find a place where our dogs could join us on vacation. It truly felt like a complete family getaway, and they enjoyed it just as much as we did.Our host was outstanding. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and hospitality exceeded our expectations and made us feel right at home.This was the perfect holiday getaway, and we made so many wonderful memories here. We will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to relax with family including your four-legged family members!

Lovely cabin!

Amazing little hidden gem in NE Iowa! Cabin was cozy, and inviting. Located close to Volga River, West Union and Fayette. Andy is a great host and made sure we had everything we might need. Highly recommend!

A Wonderful Cozy Cabin

This cabin was a beautiful little place out in the country, away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It made for a great chance for my family and I to get away from everyday life and just relax. Having access to the water made for some great memories for my niece. And my parents also especially enjoyed having such a nice sized deck/porch to laze around on. The owner was very polite and answered all my questions. Would absolutely stay here again!

Pretty cozy stay

We were expecting 2 bathrooms and 4 total beds. Only had one double bed and 2 twins. Lucky there were 2 fold out couches. We packed our chairs to use so didn’t use the ones supplied but there was plenty seating available. Loved the wrap around porch!

First the host was amazing. Constant communication, friendly and helpful with all yhe questions we had leading up to our stay and even during our stay. The property was amazing. Cute cabin with upstairs and downstairs space. The lake was beautiful. My husband and i spent rhe majority of the time on kayaks and canoes fishing. Had fires at night. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need. You can walk fully around the lake of youre looking to get a good walk in. Fishing was plentiful if youre looking to fish. Came across a beaver, turtles, 6 different fish breeds, a non venomous water snake (just once) and a muskrat. It was very peaceful at night and not too buggy but recommend some bug spray anyway. Service was spotty so fully plan to disconnect and be one with nature. Games were also available in the cabin so great for any rainy days. We also brought a grill grate and cast iron and cooked on open fire but there is an inside stove and outside grill available. We had a wonderful time and fully intend on returning again.

Quiet peaceful cabin

Our family of five chose this cabin for a short getaway. We all had a wonderful time , the lake is beautiful and quiet. We especially enjoyed kayaking, canoeing and paddle boating. Andy met us there when we arrived and was super easy to communicate with. The cabin had everything our family needed. Inside there are plenty of games, the kitchen had what we needed to eat in, the grill was great, there were plenty of towels and toiletries. We set up chairs around the fire pit and enjoyed sitting out there at night listening to the sounds of nature. This is a wonderful cabin and we’d highly recommend it. Planning to return.

Another amazing stay at this great cabin!

Another amazing stay at this great cabin! My wife and I stayed here for the second time recently and just had a great time. The cabin is very, very clean, with great amenities, a beautiful pond just outback, and just extremely serene and calm. Andy is great, very kind and very good to work with. He even brought us some fresh sweet corn one night which was delicious! We will definitely be back again for our third visit, hopefully sometime this fall when the trees are turning colors and the temperatures are going down. Highly recommend it!
