"Excellent bungalow rob the owner very helpful. Would stay again. Large garden but a low wall near front gate so a dog called jump over on to busy road. But problem solved by putting dog on rope tied to tree trunk or bench plenty of equipment excellent heating."

"The cottage is near a park and shops. It's well equipped and comfortable. Parking is across the road in a neighbour's driveway. The garden is down a little path and enclosed, with some lovely flowers and garden seating. It is a good base for Matlock and Bakewell area and other attractions. The only thing that needs is improving are the mattresses in the second bedroom as I could feel the springs."

"Excellent property in a superb location. Only a few minutes walk to town through a lovely woodland. It accommodated 4 adults and two dogs perfectly. The host was exceptional with thier preparation of the property and it was faultless for our needs. Highly recommended for time spent in Belper or the wider region."

"A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of...

"Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated."

"We had a wonderful stay. The hut was tastefully decorated and had all the home comforts. The only advice is, as with all wood fired hot tubs is that it takes roughly 3-4 hours to heat up. But it’s worth it! "
