Private Charming Casita, Old World look with all the modern conveniences.

Secured gated New Mexico Casita, with private patios and free parking, views of the lights of Albuquerque, plus volcanoes and the Sandia Mountains. Hot air balloons launch on most mornings around the house. Enjoy sunsets, wildlife like; barn owls, quail, vultures, roadrunners and the sounds of coyotes moving thought the desert on a nightly prowl. During the sunsets you will see Great Horned owls swooping down to get their nightly snacks while thought-out the day you will see, Red-Tailed Hawks, Turkey Vultures and "Cooper's" Hawks fly over daily. We have just added a private blocked in back patio and out-door kitchen facing west, to enjoy our fantastic high desert sunsets - Natures best.

The Casita was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The bedroom is cozy and space is utilized well. My son enjoyed his sleeping arrangement on the couch, and the living room area is comfy to unwind in. The bathroom is large with a great shower/tub. Our host was very gracious and communicated well through the VRBO app. My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I went to NM to visit friends and decided to stay at this beautiful property. We loved the quietness and beauty it provided. I love the monsoon season and this property was a great place to watch and experience a quick yet powerful storm. We had all the amenities we wanted and more. So relaxing. Michael and Bernie are great hosts and very nice. The Casita is very clean, comfortable and well stocked with basic kitchen and bathroom supplies. The location is peaceful with a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains. We would stay here agsin.

Work and Play in Rio Rancho!

Clean, well-appointed, friendly. Quiet area although it’s on a dirt road. Thee as t didn’t bother us at all. Mike and Bernie respond quickly to messages We would like some softer pillows and no fragrances in the unit or on the linens.

Short but wonderful visit

We stayed five days while visiting family nearby. The remote location felt like home (we live in the country), and Mike and Bernie made us feel like family. We have recommended them to family that might visit the area in the future. Nothing was lacking--no complaints.
