"We loved the vibe of this whole hotel: the very welcoming hosts, the way it’s decorated with antiques, the delicious breakfasts in Edie Mae’s Cafe in the mornings. It was a great base for exploring the Powell River area, and we highly recommend staying at The Old Courthouse!"

"I’m giving this a five star review, not because I think it’s a five star hotel, but because it was exactly what we needed and what I expected. The room was clean and fairly large, with everything we needed. Beautiful view of the ocean in the front and forest in the back. Extremely quiet. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom worked totally fine. Tv worked. Furniture and decor was definitely old, but no issues. Check in was easy and owner was very friendly. I’d definitely recommend."
