Viipuri is a beautifully renovated three-story Finnish log house, designed for comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable moments. Nestled in two acres of mature woodland on the edge of the New Forest, this luxurious retreat boasts breath-taking views over Ringwood Forest and is perfect for families, friends, or couples seeking a tranquil escape.

Note the property has steep stairs and some beds are in the loft space with restricted height, so not suitable for the elderly or toddlers. Please see the details on the pictures.

Easter Break

The Lodge is lovely, all the ground floor is brand new, showers are great. There were 10 if us and all fitted in perfectly. There are some steep stairs on 2 of the rooms but great for teens. You can walk straight out into the woods from the garden.It was super clean and communication with the owners were very responsive. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Timo.

Another great stay

Back for the 4th time, works very well for our family as the boys can just cycle out of the garden into miles of car-free cycle tracks. Weather not brilliant but hot tub still got a lot of use!

Forest

Lovely secluded lodge surrounded by gorgeous tall trees and beautiful forest walks. The hot tub was wonderful ,so relaxing. The lodge was also very well placed for the new forest and also the beach at Bournemouth. We will definitely come back.

Relaxing mini break

The setting is beautiful, the lodge is surrounded by trees and a spacious garden. We (two adults, a toddler and a baby) stayed for four days and enjoyed staying at the lodge as much as exploring the local area. The hot tub was a great option and was used daily. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels provided. Timo met us on arrival and made himself available if needed, however we were left alone to explore and enjoy the peaceful setting which I really appreciated. It suited us very well and we would happily return in the future.

Easter long weekend trip

We had a lovely, stress free experience staying at the property. Location is brilliant, hosts very helpful, and we had everything we needed with the bonus of some recent renovations. We all had a really lovely time, Thankyou!

Superb Cabin in the Woods

Viipuri cabin was all we hoped for and more. Timo was very accommodating with check in so arriving a little early was not a problem. The traditional Finnish cabin was very warm & cosy & homely yet with very good modern appliances and an excellent shower with lashings of hot water. The kitchen was very well equipped. The tumble dryer was especially welcome as we made full use of the hot tub several times a day during our 3 night stay. Our 3 grandchildren were enchanted with staying right in the woods, surrounded by trees & watching for squirrels & birds. They didn't want to leave. Grandson number 1 particularly loved his 'nook' bedroom in the eaves. All the beds were comfortable & clean. We did loose internet connection on occasions but this was not important for us. We would love to return to enjoy more family time together in this special place.

Lovely Cosy Cabin

Lovely cosy warm cabin with everything you could need, surrounded by beautiful woodland. Timo and Luigi were extremely helpful and generous throughout our stay. We've been visiting for many years and are already looking forward to next time!

The lodge was so lovely, lots of quirky parts like the snug rooms in the roof, my daughter was a big fan of this. A few run down bits but clean and comfortable. Would be nice to have a more comfortable seating in the lounge but overall a great weekend. Thank you

We had best day loved lodge plus all little extras put in place. We had an amazing day at moors Country Park vist to burley Brockenhurst and lovely meal in ringwood kids and dog loved it we will be back for summer amazing time wish we booked an extra night

Relaxing break

Good facilities and super hot tub. The grounds are lovely and you can access the forest directly from the cabin garden where you can walk for miles, either to places like the Moors Country Park or to Ringwood town if you don’t want to use the car. Timo, the manager, is very helpful. This was our second stay in one of the cabins which speaks for itself.

Absolutely amazing!

This is the second time staying in the Viipuri cabin, and it is absolutely fantastic... Steve & Timo manage the property absolutely brilliantly, and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in a "cabin in the woods". The surroundings are quite beautiful, and if you're looking for a chilled get away, this location is ideal.

Fantastic

This is a fantastic place to stay, especially if like me you want to do lots of things. It is situated really close to main roads to get to most places you would need to. There is a fantastic country park 5 minutes drive away, or about 30 mins walk, this place is a great place to visit. There is a go ape there and countless other attractions. Just beware parking is expensive though I paid about 15 pounds, however the park itself is free so in the grand scheme of things that is not to expensive. Timo came over and introduced himself to us, a very approachable person who if you contact with any question about the house, he answers promptly and I am quite sure if what he suggested doesn't work he would come over and investigate. The overall appearance of the property is clean whilst a little old fashioned this fits with the style of the house. The rooms are all really good and fit for purpose. The 2 mezzanine rooms I would say as stated in the information about the property they are not fit for the young or elderly. I put my 2 teenage children in them and it suited them. There is a good washing machine and tumble dryer so after a day at the beach or wherever you can do any laundry you need to. I would say 2 things would make this place unbeatable from anything in the area, firstly a welcome pack with local information on attractions and also take aways and supermarkets etc. Secondly a slightly larger fridge, we are a family of 6 so food storage in the fridge was a premium. This is a fantastic place and I will recommend it to anybody especially my friends family. Thank you Timo and Steve for this fantastic property it was brilliant.

Another great week here

This was the second time we rented Viipuri cabin and it didn't disappoint, especially with a bit more sunshine this time! Great setting, very peaceful, lots of space for kids to run around and cycle into the woods and Timo was on hand for anything we needed. Very relaxing and would highly recommend.

Just perfect!

Property was exactly as described, all amenities were fantastic, thoughtful details like having sanitary products in the bathroom and condiments and seasonings in the kitchen were really surprising and appreciated. Property manager was present but not over bearing. Property was clean and bedding was comfy. Overall perfect for what we wanted and a great price! Loved it!

Great location.

Great location. Have stayed several times in the past. Quiet and secluded when you want to relax but just a 15-minute car journey from the countryside or the beach - whichever you prefer. Some very nice local pubs too which offer indoor and outdoor catering!

Beautiful lodge and surroundings

Timo met us and was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our lodge. There are two bedrooms that can only be accessed by ladders so prob not suitable for adults (and they are small rooms - great for kids ). Best equipped place i have ever stayed in ! My only criticism is I thought the settee was really uncomfortable and I kept sliding off it …
