To the ski school, ice rink and indoor swimming pool ~350 m. Beautiful hillside location on the edge of the forest. The historic 'Bisses' hiking trail starts directly at the chalet (summer). The chalet has three floors. Very spacious living and dining area with cosy sitting area by the open fireplace. Access to the large balcony. Gallery open to the living room as an additional reading and TV corner. Modern and well-equipped kitchen. Five of the bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom with WC. In La Tzoumaz there is the Trail of the Senses at an altitude of 1700 metres, with 12 'sensory stations' and an exhibition on the regional flora and fauna. Pleasant walks, e.g. along sections of the typical Valais 'bisses' (irrigation channels). The Bisse de Saxon leads directly past the chalet and on via Nendaz to Vercorin. Total network of paths around 150 km. Interesting excursion possibilities due to the location in the border triangle Switzerland - Italy - France, e.g. with the Mont Blanc Express to Chamonix, or over the Great St. Bernard Pass into the Italian Aosta Valley.
