🏔 🌲 Creek Side Mt. Hood Adventure Cottage 🌲 🏔

This upscale modern Mt. Hood cottage offers you the perfect spot to set up camp while visiting the area for winter or summer sporting activities. Relax in the cozy living room/great room which features vaulted ceiling with dimmer lights, a remote powered fireplace, Dining table, and 65' Smart TV. The large deck and backyard is tree filled and right on a creek!
The space
Immerse yourself into your own private forest-oasis on Hackett Creek. Listen to the gently sounds of flowing water and gather around the fire-pit! Cook over the fire and roast s'mores or slow down and just enjoy the beauty and warmth around you! My place has plenty of outdoor seating and a small charcoal grill (in the summer) and indoor seating to choose from. Sit near the creek, fire-pit, or on the beautifully lit deck or front yard. Inside the cottage you'll find a fully remodeled house with all brand new furniture, linens, and kitchen appliances. There is ample seating for everyone and there is a large 65 inch smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen to cook in! In the 2 large bedrooms you’ll find brand new queen size memory foam mattresses, Roku powered Smart TV’s and large closets! There is one full bathroom en suite to the master and an additional full size handicap accessible bathroom in the hall.

For additional sleeping arrangements, the cottage is equipped with a queen size Aerobed air mattress and a ‘cord-a-roys’ bean bag bed that converts to a actual queen size bed of fluff. Additionally, there are plenty of linens for each! If you are using one of these options please return them to their original packed state and put away prior to departure.

Looking for lodging to participate in winter sports? The cottage is about 20 minutes to SkiBowl and 25 to Timberline Lodge.

If you plan to use charcoal BBQ please bring the charcoals as it’s hard to keep in stock up there. The cottage has the BBQ utensils inside. please note that the fire-department does add 'burn-ban's' periodically in the summer that sadly mean no campfires.. even though its contained and in front of the water.


* Please note that during inclement weather the power up in the mountains can go out for a short while of time. As this affects all homes in Rhododendron, PGE is often quick at getting it right back on! Your cottage is equipped with a large supply of blankets and flashlights as well. Please not that the wifi is not always the strongest when there is inclement weather as it makes it harder for a strong signal to reach the house and can be out for a period of time.
During the rainy months the outdoors areas are unkept and no furniture is outside as the weather quickly undoes any upkeep. Lots of pine-needles are often tracked in each time you go inside and out, so just be mindful of that if that would be bothersome.

Also the white circle above the front door hallway is not a fire alarm but a ‘minut’ device. It’s a home alarm, monitors temperature, humidity, noise, and pressure.

The cottage is your home away from home!

You have access to the entire house aside from the locked utility room to the left of the front door (just owners things, cleaning supplies, decorations and stuff) and the locked tool shed in the backyard.

* Please note that there is not great phone service (I have Verizon and it is spotty) and I do have the best wifi possible for that area and in most cases is strong and works great but as you are in the mountains and it is known to lag and can go out for various reasons. STR-Cert #1044-24-flat
