Summary:
Beautiful studio apartments in the heart of Reykjavík. The apartment is in a prime location in a renovated building, right in the city centre and within walking distance of all the cities main attractions. It features a fully equipped full size kitchen, a sleeping sofa and a double bed.
Please note these are multi unit apartments and there is slight difference between them.

The Space:
This cozy studio is thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to four guests. The studio features a comfortable double bed and a convenient sleeping sofa that can sleep two additional guests.

You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favorite meals, complete with necessary appliances, cookware, and utensils. The private bathroom offers a refreshing shower, ensuring you have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Enjoy your downtime with a TV for entertainment and take advantage of the free WiFi to stay connected.

Situated in a prime downtown location, you’ll be just steps away from the city’s top attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Whether you're here for business or leisure, our studio apartment provides the perfect blend of comfort and convenience.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the city central, Týr Apartments is perfect for your explorations while in Iceland. The apartments have a city view and you can enjoy the downtown area comfortably by foot. Only a few steps away is the popular shopping street Laugavegur and the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja Church is only 5 minutes walk away. The area has plenty of restaurants in all ranges but you're also free to make a homemade meal with the fully equipped kitchen.

Getting Around:
Public transport from here is very good. The main bus station (Hlemmur) is within 5 minute walk. There are tons of bars and restaurants within few minute walking distance. There is limited parking due to the location and most spaces are pay and display but are free overnight

Other Things to Note:
Please note that this is multi unit listing, we have 2 very similar apartments in the same building which are all under this listing. It is therefore possible to book the listing up to 2 times, make sure if you only want to book one apartment that you do not accidentally make multiple bookings.

Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request.

We have cameras monitoring the common areas of the building and front doors, for your safety.

10/10 would recommend!

Location: Central and walking distance to all of downtown Reykjavik - accurate to listing, once car was parked we walked every where. Parking: we got very lucky with parking and was able to get a spot in-front of the building both nights we stayed. Did not find it difficult at all to find spots - accurate to listing. Communication/Booking process: very easy and seamless. The detailed instructions and photos provided prior to checkin was very helpful - accurate to listing. The place itself was very clean, and just the perfect size. We had a one bedroom with sofa bed, extra bedding was provided when we checked in. All amenities as listed. I would re-book at this location again

Great central location but not fully equipped for self-catering

Property itself was clean, bed very comfortable and a good bathroom. Kitchen was TERRIBLY stocked - hardly any utensils or cooking equipment which made it very difficult to self-cater. We also had a bad check-in experience - despite being told we could arrive whenever and store our bags we couldn’t enter the building when we arrived - after calling several different numbers we finally spoke to someone who could sort out our problem (our codes weren’t activated properly). To summarise, the apartment is in a great location but I wouldn’t recommend staying beyond a couple of nights as it is very basic.

Clean rental in a Great Location

I was looking forward for the opportunity to review this property as wonderful! It is a block from the swimming pool and 2 blocks in any direction from tourist attractions and restaurants. Though I had a car, which was hard to park after 5pm, I used the scooters to zip from one end of Reykjavik to another. We had plenty of space with the pull out couch. The laundry was free, however took over an hour for each cycle. The management communicate with me quickly. -- If you hadn't been to Europe. take note, they don't use wash clothes or flat sheets. They switch out the duvet covers. This place had a complete kitchen. Reykjavik is very expensive. I prefer to go to the grocery store to obtain a roasted chicken and veggies for the week. It is very easy to heat each room, including the bathroom. It isn't that easy to cool off. The street noise is very loud, however, the loud street noises weren't often. I like the lock box. I wasn't worried about losing the key. My friend and I could go on separate adventures because the doors had the lock boxe. --- the doors are LOUD. the doors slam with a thunderous clap. There was an option of leaving your luggage in a storage closet if you arrive early or are staying after check out. The internet was excellent. The TV channels are few, but adequate. One last thing, I noticed in Reykjavik that immigrants are treated like they are treated in the USA. Reykjavik and Iceland are so progressive, yet the entire country could do better with the staff they need for tourist.
