Amazing experience with all from the staff including( front desk, breakfast, shuttle driver). Beautiful rooms, clean, and only 10min to the airport.

Staff was very helpful. We had trouble locking our balcony door and the front desk came up to assist. We stayed in the Pearl room. We didn't realize our balcony was a shared balcony with another room and the common space shared amongst the suites. There were no issues, but would have been nice to know before hand. Overall the room was very clean, very nice, and we enjoyed our stay for 1 night.

We visited in the summer, so it was light out all night. The shades worked well. Our room was very nice. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had more time to stay. The hotel is much closer to the airport than it is to Reykjavik. This was not a problem since we had free parking for our rental car.

We loved it here. So did my kids. They were kind in honoring the airport shuttle but I get the feeling it’s not common. The room was wonderful and more than enough space. A great breakfast. The only thing was there were flies in our room because the windows were open. It didn’t bother us but other it might.

The Diamond Suites were fantastic—a perfect, relaxing place to stay for our last night! The staff were wonderful and made sure everything went perfectly. Great stay!

Even though we were on the top floor in the diamond suites the room was extremely small and hard to have two adults and two small kids in. The fancy hot tub bath didn’t work, no bubbles. The room with the toilet was extremely small. Only stayed one night and we were woken up by a man working on the outside hot tub that also seemed to be busted at 7am! An unreasonable time to be banging on things right outside our window. The food was good at the attached restaurant and the place was charming overall. They could lay off the fake fragrance diffusers as they were all over the place and overpowering.

Staff was lovely, when they had the time but there are only 2 at front desk so if there is a large group it is a long wait to ask questions. Breakfast was not as portrayed online although still plentiful. Amenities were outstanding and mind blowing if using the spa. Having parking was an incredible bonus. As was being within walking distance to many restaurants and grocery stores. Beds were very comfortable. My only complaint about the room was that the temp was set to 24C and when we asked the to turn it down. It did not happed so we had to leave the windows open all night (so glad we could do that), however that also meant listening to the blinds bang all night. Overall great experience! What I wish I had known before I booked was that most tours/ activities depart from Reyjavik so getting there without a rental car can be very expensive.

Nice little hotel near Airport

Fancy little hotel located on the top floor of the Keflavik hotel. The rooms are quite fancy with modern lighting ,surround sound and a spa both. You also have access to a shared Jacuzzi outside. The only let down for this hotel of this standard was the breakfast which was quite bland and the Jacuzzi should be private not shared.

The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. We opted for the Sapphire suite with access to the hot tub. (side note- this is advertised as being private, but it is on a shared balcony with no dividers). We also chose to include breakfast and that was wonderful. There were many hot and cold food options and a good variety of beverages as well. Great offering especially when traveling with kids. You should absolutely visit the spa if you get a chance. It was the best way to end our trip. I was absolutely impressed by the kindness of the staff- Anna at the front desk and Robert with maintenance in particular. Anna did everything she could to assure we had a wonderful stay and Robert was incredibly kind and helpful. They really made the stay exceptional for us. I would ultimately return because of them. You can stay at a nice hotel anywhere, but the staff is what makes this place stand out. Thank you so much for that.

Unfortunately I don’t think it represents the price they’re charging having stayed in equally nice rooms and not paid as much. Shouldn’t be the price it is.

The room was not clean. Specifically the bath room and tub had black something coming out of the drain and jets. Also they promoted rooftop hot tubs but neither of them were operational. Food was not that great in the restaurant. Overall we were not happy with our stay. We complained to management for some sort of compensation and they have ghosted us. Very poor experience. Would not recommend staying here.

Great place but find it un gratifying to come back to the room and never find any fruit basket or tasty delicacies. It’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel and first I visit that does not provide amenities for welcoming

This property was billed as a 5-star property. In my opinion just having a great room with great lights and music options does not make you a 5-star property. At the time of check-in we found that there was no bath mate on the floor in bathroom, built-in safe was locked and not working. Room temperature could not be controlled from the room! There were no free water bottles as mentioned in their information so when asked for it, we were told to drink tap water! We have stayed at so many 5-star properties all around the world but this property should never been categorized as 5-star property.

5 star that is really a 3 star

This is reportedly the only 5 star in Iceland. I am not sure why. This would be a 3 star in USA. The hotel is under construction and we could not even enter the front entrance. The room was very technologically advanced but we could not even figure out how to work half of the equipment. The thermostat in our room was broken and apparently set to 80 degrees so we had to leave the door/window open in ICELAND in the winter! We were encouraged to order the free breakfast to our room and then given a room service fee so not exactly what was expected. The restaurant was good but not the best food we had in Iceland. So needless to say lots of room for improvement

Everything was top of the range that was available. But the gentleman working on the front desk very charming and intelligent makes the place shine, the food is unbelievable the breakfast lady is as delightful as her food

Excellent hotel worthy of repeat visits! Hotel communication prior to stay and for transport was excellent! They were flexible in allowing a late check-out and attending to questions, ect. I stayed at Diamond Suites Sapphire Room as a stopover R & R following a European business trip. The suite was beautifully appointed and the private hot tub was deluxe! The separate floor for Diamond Suites is really lovely. Staff was professional and attentive. My stay was only marred a bit by a very noisy crowd occupying the other rooms and common area on the floor. The Kef Restaurant served star quality freshly caught cod and beautiful asparagus side dish.
