Cheerful Country Cottage

The cottage is newly renovated, however many of the items in the cottage are unique and vintage. The property has been in our family for years. The property is on 8 acres there is a beautiful pond surrounded by trees. Wildlife visit the property almost daily.

Beautiful property! We loved he picturesque outside area by the pond! The house was clean with everything we needed and more! It is right next to the freeway, but you couldn’t hear the traffic with the windows closed. We would definitely stay there again!!

We spent just one night on the way to Yellowstone. My visiting family called this "a little house on the prairie", probably because of the beautiful surroundings. The house itself was wonderful, with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay there again.

Cottage

Was more than what we expected. Very homey feeling, with a lot of cool items shown within the home. The master was comfortable and well done. We had snacks left which were greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling.

Responsive and thoughtful.

The property was great! It looks much smaller from the outside. Once you get inside, there is a lot of space. They left snacks and notes. We played games that were in the house. The beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend.

Lovely home away from home

We needed a place to hold Thanksgiving dinner with our adult college kids. This location worked so well. Lots of space for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked to allow for the cooking to happen. Very clean and nicely furnished.

So Peaceful!!

We loved our stay and plan to come back again! Here's our top 10 things we loved about this place: 1. How peaceful the yard is with plenty of seating, a pond and even a swing a grown-up can swing on! 2. The master shower with shampoo, conditioner & body wash that smelled & felt so nice! It is a walk in and has a bench you could sit on if needed for your shower. Loved the shower! 3. The kitchen had everything you needed-even an Insta Pot and Crock Pot. 4. The sweet bowl of treats & letter welcoming us! 5. The board/card games they had that we had so much fun playing. 6. Taking walks in the neighborhood. We even saw a deer in the front yard! 7. Washer & Dryer with detergent & dryer sheets. 8. So close to BYUI, yet you felt that you were miles away. 9. Communication with Lora was so fast! 10. The comfort of the whole house- so much room. Loved the antiques everywhere! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!

Great Group or Large Family Option

Lots of room. Very comfortable and clean. Easy check in. Many amenities. When the tree row is not leafed out, the sound from Hwy 20 can be heard. Nice beds. Upgraded master bedroom and bath. Wifi dropped out once. Nice smart TV's in every room.

They've Thought of Everything!

Other VRBO's that we've booked have had the bare essentials provided. Not only is the property immaculately taken care of, but they've provided much more. Each time I needed something - it was there! We felt like VIP's - welcome and wanted from the minute we walked through the door. Plenty of room to spread out, beds very comfortable, and my husband almost decided to move in he was so taken with the heated tile floors in the master bedroom. My only disappointment was not realizing they had a hotel waffle maker in the cupboard! How fun is that!!! If you stay here - you won't be disappointed. We love the rural surroundings, but we were only 6 minutes from town and everything going on there. The best of both worlds.

Winter Wonderland

We were in Idaho to celebrate Christmas with family. When we arrived, the outside was festively decorated, there was fresh snow, and we immediately felt at home. The pictures don’t capture the size of this home! The primary suite and bathroom are spacious and tucked away from the other bedrooms. Perfect place to stay with kids or extended family. We appreciated the snacks and thoughtful gift from the property owner. Highly recommend!

Our stay was perfect. The property was close enough to where we needed to be but in a nice quiet rural setting. The house had absolutely everything we needed. There were different areas so our whole group could be together or get a little privacy when wanted. Our hostess, Lora was perfectly helpful without being intrusive. I would definitely stay again.
