  • Villa Ikaros is located on a hill offering 100% privacy in the outdoor areas and amazing panoramic sea views! The villa can accommodate 6 people in beds and up to 8 people.

    It is a bungalow of 106 square meters which contains an open plan area with the living room, a full equipped kitchen and the dining table indoors in addition to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and the others are one with double bed and the other with 2 single beds! The main bathroom has a bath and shower.

    All the areas and the bedrooms have air condition and direct exit to the pool area and the gardens! Outdoors you will find a 40 square meters swimming pool and the barbecue area. There is a private garden with olive trees and vegetables. On the villa’s roof contains a sitting area( under and you will be able to enjoy endless views!

Das Haus ist ganz oben auf einer Anhöhe mit herrlichem Blick und abenteurlicher Anfahrt. Es hat auch einen schönen Pool. Wir waren 6 Personen, leider gab es nur 5 Liegen und auch nur 5 Stühle am Esstisch. Und von den Betten war nur in einem Zimmer eine Doppelmatratze bequem zum schlafen, die anderen Matratzen waren unbequem und alt. In dem kleinen Bad neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer war leider die Dusche so winzig, dass man automatisch das Bad überschwemmte beim duschen. Ansonsten hatten wir aber einen schönen Aufenthalt, Stavros war immer hilfsbereit bei Fragen und es war eine schöne Woche dort oben!

Hoch hinaus

Die Villa ist schön, entspricht der Beschreibung und führt rasant zur entschleunigten und entspannten Lebensführung. Der Pool ist großzügig und wurde regelmässig gereinigt. Die Küche verfügt über eine Grundaustattung, die grundsätzlich ok ist. Wer gerne kocht, wie wir, der weiss eh, dass man sich seine Messer ins Ferienhaus besser mitnimmt. Ein Wellcome Paket gab es allerdings nicht, auch kein Wasser, mag allerdings auch Corona geschuldet sein. Der Blick, sowohl zum Meer als auch den Bergen ist einfach nur schön und oben auf der Terrasse lassen sich nachts die Sterne beobachten. Die Anfahrt ist allerdings beim ersten Mal ein Erlebnis. Erster Gang und Vollgas, dann klappt's. Zusammen gefasst: ein schönes Haus am schönen Ort, eine gute Betreuung, also alles gut.

Superb villa with wide view on the vally of Retymo

We particularly enjoyed the silence, sounds of nature and the colourfull garden wall of bougainville, roses and conifers. We saw Bonelli eagles flying at least onces every day (ones even a griffonn vulture!) The villa is modern with rustic details, room are high. The villa is indeed fully equiped for 6 persons. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare quality food, and also the bbq is fully equipped. We even baked or ouwn bread. We used the Cretan Cookbook in the villa many times (english/german/dutch). There are alo tavernas in de surrounding area. The pool is big enough to swim lanes and there are 6 beds of good quality. For us it was a meditative and relaxing environment. We enjoyed driving the last part uphill, yes it is quit steep but we had no problems. The owner is helpfull, generous and friendly. When we arrived there were bottles of water in the fridge, bread to make toast, marmelade, butter and fruit. And off corse, raki on the table. This was our second time in Villa Ikaros and again we enjoyed this little paradise very much.

Alles was man sich wünscht

Wunderschöne Villa an traumhafter Lage! Dörfer, Tavernen und Strände sind in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen und trotzdem geniesst man völlige Privatsphäre und absolute Ruhe. Die Villa ist sauber und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und aufmerksam!

Best villa in Retymnon area

After a long search got this villa,outstanding view and location,the rooftop is great and pool with a view.Well equipped and high standard as promised.Exellent service from renter. Prepared meals from garden veggies and the grill was suitable for outdoor dining as was the lights.SAFE and quiet area,roomy interiør all suitable for 6 persons. Local welcome basket was appreciated.Can recommend retning from the company.A lovely untroubled 2 weeks i July and AC worked fine.

Great location

Superb cleanliness and view. Difficult to find, recommend updated recent model GPS -not the one we got from Europcar- :-). Received good assistance from owner, Stavros and his brother to guide us in. As it is distantieren and If you go with group who wants to do different things you need transport, walking is not an option. Perfect for couples who want to get always from it all!

Beautiful Villa with FantasticViews

This villa is tucked away at the top of a very steep hill in a quiet village. The facilities at the villa are very good and a very generous ammount of groceries were left for us. The pool is lovely and clean with ample sunbeds and a glorious roof terrace to admire the view. A car is essential and make sure you have sat nav! The staff we had dealings with were very helpful and any minor snags were dealt with quickly. We would definately come back and stay again or consider one of the other properties that they own. I cannot speak highly enough of the company who were very helpful in giving advice about resturaunts and nearby places of interest.

La villa correspond bien aux photos, nous avons ete tres bien accueillies. Le proprietaire nous a conseille differents lieux a visiter, ou manger, tout en restant a l ecoute de nos souhaits.

Zeer compleet huis op prachtige plaats

Villa Ikaros is een zeer compleet vakantiehuis. Alles tot en met badlakens, keukenapparatuur, boeken, medicijnenkastje, is aanwezig. Bij aankomst waren er al boodschappen. Het huis werd ook tijdens ons verblijf om de drie dagen gepoetst. Het huis is hoog gelegen met uitzicht op de zee. Er is altijd een prettige wind. Vanaf Adele ben je zo in Rethymno, waar gezellige terassen en restaurants zijn. Het enige te noemen nadeel is dat, omdat het huis hoog gelegen is, je er niet tegenop moet zien om op het laatst een steile oprit te nemen. Zeker value for money.

Great villa!!

We had a great holiday time at Villa Ikaros. The villa is very well equipped and is fantastic located. Fantastic sea view and an excellent pool. The service was more than perfect, every 3 days the villa was cleaned and the beds were changed by a very friendly lady. Also was the cleaning of the pool included. We would like to recommend this villa to anyone! We will be back for sure :-).....
