Urban Red

A sunlit first-floor flat in Rethymno city centre with an indoor fireplace and a south-facing balcony. Decorated in warm red-orange tones, it has a large window and a big glass door that bring in light, and air conditioning keeps summer days cool. The bedroom has a double bed and opens into an extra space for reading or a workout. Washing machine, Wi-Fi and self check-in are included, and the Old Town is nearby. Suited to a couple on a city break or a longer remote-work stay.

Sun-filled and south-facing: a large living-room window and a big glass door bring in light through the day, and the south-facing balcony has outdoor furniture and a city view for morning coffee or dinner outside.
Room to spread out: the bedroom opens into an extra area that suits reading, meditation or a short workout.

The space: a main living area with a sofa, a table for dining or work, and a well-equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, electric kettle and coffee maker. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. 1 bathroom with a shower. Sleeps 2 guests.

Practical points: the apartment is on the first floor and is reached by stairs; there is no elevator. Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, washing machine, drying rack, hair dryer, iron and a safe are provided, together with bed linen and towels.

You have the whole apartment to yourselves, with its own entrance: the living area and kitchen, the bedroom and its extra area, the bathroom, the washing machine and the south-facing balcony. Check-in is self check-in; the entry details are sent to you after booking.

I am here for you during your stay, but the level of interaction is up to you. I am only a phone call or a message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

The apartment is on a quiet street in Rethymno city centre, near the Old Town, in a residential neighbourhood. Everyday needs are within walking distance: a pharmacy about 300 m away and a supermarket about 700 m. The beach is about 1.4 km away and the main sights about 1.5 km.

Getting around: Chania airport is approx. 65 km away and Heraklion airport approx. 85 km. By ferry, Chania port (Souda) is approx. 50 km and Heraklion port approx. 80 km. If you come by car, there is free street parking around the building; no on-site parking. In town you can manage without a car, as a pharmacy, a supermarket and cafes can be reached on foot.

Good to know before you book: the apartment is on the first floor and is reached by stairs. Check-in is from 16:00 to 23:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Only the guests on the reservation may stay; visitors are not permitted. Quiet hours are 23:00-08:00, as this is a residential neighbourhood where neighbours live year-round. Smoking is allowed on the balcony only, never inside. No parties or events, and pets are not allowed. Hot water is switched on at the electrical board and is ready in about 20 minutes. For stays of up to 7 days, cleaning with fresh towels and amenities takes place every 4 days; for longer stays, there is a full cleaning every 7 days. ID details are required for all guests under Greek law. No one lives on site, but if a problem arises we do our best to act as quickly as possible.

THE APARTMENT

· Maximum occupancy is limited to the number of guests on the reservation.
Unregistered guests and visitors are not permitted.
· Smoking is permitted on the balcony only, never inside the apartment.
· No parties, events or gatherings.
· Pets are not allowed.
· Please keep windows and balcony doors closed while the A/C is running.

THE BUILDING

· Quiet hours: 23:00–08:00. We are in a residential neighbourhood and our neighbours live here year-round. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially on the balcony and in the stairwell.
· Please dispose of rubbish in the municipal bins before departure.

GENERAL

· Please report any damage or malfunction to our service desk immediately.
· Hot Water: To turn on the hot water, please check the main electrical board for the fuse with the grey button. Press the grey button, and the water will heat up automatically within approximately 20 minutes.
· The cleaning schedule is as follows:
For bookings of up to 7 days, the cleaning lady comes every 4 days and provides fresh towels and amenities.
For bookings longer than 7 days, the cleaning lady provides a full cleaning once every 7 days, in addition to fresh towels and amenities.
· Guests are responsible for the keys. A replacement fee applies for lost keys. If you are locked outside, please call Locksmith (if you get locked out) at +30 697 405 4000.
· ID details are required for all guests, as required by Greek law.
