  • Enjoy the beauty of nature at Villa Manoutsio, the sea and mountain views, and the magic of absolute tranquillity. The villa is surrounded by a large lawn where you can sunbathe, read, and relax. It also features an outdoor BBQ, a traditional wood oven, and a playground for children.

    The villa consists of two bedrooms with double beds located on the first floor, as well as one bathroom on the first floor and another on the ground floor, and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. On the ground floor, you will also find the dining room, a cozy seating area with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, including an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and espresso machine.

    Both the bedrooms and the ground floor are air-conditioned. Each bathroom is equipped with a WC and a shower. Additional amenities include unlimited hot water, WiFi internet, satellite TV, sound system, hair dryer, ironing board, and washing machine.

We spent about one month in the lovely Villa Manoutsio near Episkopi on the Island of Crete in Greece. The villa is very conveniently located to travel anywhere on the island. It is very close to the beach and has some absolutely gorgeous views. Our hosts were wonderful!! They went above and beyond any expectations we could have. The home was very clean and comfortable. It is also very child friendly - with games, toys and outdoor play equipment. The outdoor garden area is quite peaceful and includes a fabulous dining area with fireplace and grilling options. Perfect for outdoor entertainment.We would highly recommend this home and location for travelers with or without children. We would absolutely book again the next time we are fortunate enough to get to Crete.

Traumhafte Villa in toller Lage - beste Vermieter

Eine super Unterkunft, bestens ausgestattet in toller Gegend. Alles picobello sauber, sehr geräumig und alle Räume klimatisiert. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche und wunderschöner Garten mit gemütlicher Sitzecke zum Essen oder verweilen. Geschäfte in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Sehr schöne Strände und viele Ausflugsziele in der Gegend.Wir wurden noch nie so herzlich Empfangen und dankend Melina für den wundervollen Aufenthalt !

Little paradise

Our holiday was just perfect. When we arrived a freshly cooked pastisio waited for us in the oven. We got plenty of suggestions for restaurants and trips, which were all great. The garden is amazing and the place is only 5 minutes away from the beach. Even the south of crete can be reached within less than an hour. We will surely return!

Séjour très agréable

La maison correspond exactement à la description et aux photos. Elle est très bien placée, au milieu des champs d'oliviers, et l'on entend uniquement le chant des oiseaux et celui des cigales.La propriétaire est charmante et à notre écoute. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, et nous recommandons vivement cette maison aux amoureux de la Crète, qui recherchent calme et tranquillité.

Great Time

We had a great time at the house. The house had everything we need to have a great vacation and great time at the beach. It was idyllic and the house has plenty of opportunities to spend time at home too. Especially for a family! The tenants were very nice and reachable, which made the atmosphere even better.

Very peaceful place

This villa had everything needed for a comfortable stay and the owners were very kind in leaving little touches like bottled water, wine and even a home-cooked meal. Children under 10 would love the garden with its selection of swings and nets.

We spent 15 days in this house 500 m from the sea. We were very kindly received by Melina with pasticcio, fruit, wine, oil, ... Everything was there to start our stay well. The house was very clean and equipped with all amenities. Plenty of space both inside and outside. Melina took the time to ask about us during our stay. The property is very well located, surrounded by olive trees. It is an ideal place to relax, visit the sandy beaches on the coast of Episkopi, or even visit this magnificent island. We had an excellent stay and as always too short!

Entspannung pur

Melina hat uns mit einem köstlichen griechischen Gericht empfangen und war in jeder Hinsicht eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Das Haus liegt sehr schön, verkehrsgünstig und weit ab von Nachbarn in einem Olivenhain. Besonders der Freisitz mit dem Pizzaofen und dem Grill laden jeden Abend zum draußen sitzen ein. In jeder Hinsicht zu empfehlen.

Super Unterkunft für Familien

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa. Gleich am ersten Tag wurden wir herzlichst empfangen und verpflegt. Die Ausstattung der Villa lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein wunderschöner Außenbereich mit Grill und genug Unterhaltung für die Kleinen. Zum Strand ist es nicht weit und die vielen Strandbars mit Spielplätzen laden zum verweilen ein. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können ein Urlaub für Familien in dieser Villa nur empfehlen!

Wir würden sehr herzlich empfangen. Ein Pastitio war für uns zubereitet worden, Raki und Wasser standen kalt u.d eine große Schüssel mit frischem Obst stand auch noch da. Perfect holiday in Crete

We had a perfect holiday in Crete. Melina and Stelios (the owner of the house) were very friendly and gave us a lot of tips, so that we could enjoy our holidays. The house is situated in a farm land area, with olive trees and sheeps. You can walk to the nearest beach in maybe ten minutes. The next supermarkets and restaurants are also not far away (about 2 or 3 kilometers). We enjoyed having barbecue and breakfast in the garden. All in all we had a nice stay. Thank you.

Total entspannter Urlaub

Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen 11 Tage im Haus. Der Kontakt mit Melina war über die gesamten Tage außergewöhlich gut. Sie hat uns jederzeit bei allen Fragen und Problemen geholfen. Es fing schon mit der Begrüßung an. Ein Auflauf war schon im Ofen und Getränke im Kühlschrank. Dafür nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön. Sie hat uns alles Wissenswertes in Ruhe erklärt und gezeigt. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Alles ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Lage in einem Olivenhain ist ruhig, abgesehen von den pflichtbewußten Hähnen in der Umgebung. Der Strand, mit einen schönen Beachbar/Taverne und kostenfreien Liegen, ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Einkaufen benötigt man einen fahrbaren Untersatz den man auf Kreta sowieso haben muss. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in der Unterkunft. Von uns aus absolut Empfehlenswert !!!

Schöner Urlaub, tolles Haus, herzliche Gastgeber

Liebe Melina, lieber Stelios, wir haben auch unseren zweiten Urlaub (nach 3 Jahren) bei euch sehr genossen! Das fängt an beim Begrüßungsessen (Pastitsio), dem Obst, den Getränken, natürlich mit Raki, geht weiter mit eurem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus mit perfekter Ausstattung und endet bei eurer herzlichen Betreuung während unseres Aufenthalts. Euer Haus liegt wunderschön in einem Olivenhain, nicht weit weg vom Meer und ist ideal für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Levi (und natürlich auch den großen Jungs) hat das Fußballtor im Garten natürlich am besten gefallen. Wir haben die Abende auf der Terrasse nach einem Sonnentag am Meer oder einem Ausflug besonders genossen. Leider sind unsere 2 Wochen bei euch schon wieder vorbei. Wir möchten uns nochmal ausdrücklich für eure Herzlichkeit bedanken und hoffen, unsere Nachmieter wissen das auch zu schätzen. Ganz liebe Grüße aus Deutschland senden Levi, Basti, Thomas und Kathrin

Could NOT Have Been Better!!!!!

Well, how about PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! I could not say one bad thing about the villa or the owners. Melina and Stelios were fantastic hosts and treated us like royalty. Melina had actually made a us a pasta meal, pastitsio, and it was ready when we arrived. It was delicious and lasted two of us about 3 meals! The villa had EVERYTHING you need! It was beautiful, up a road into the countryside, overlooking Episkipo beach. We had views of the sea and of the mountains. We watched sunrises and sunsets from the terraces at opposite ends of the villa. We sat for hours in the cool shade of the picnic patio (huge). It was quiet and secluded. It is right between Chania and Heraklion, which made it perfect for us to see sites in both areas. Melina even arrange our anniversary dinner at an excellent restaurant. Plus they gave us many tips on local places. 6 night was waaay too short. If we get to return, it will be for a month, at least. I cannot recommend the villa or Melina and Stelios highly enough!!!

A Perfect Countryside Retreat in Crete

We had an absolutely wonderful two-week stay at this home! It is perfectly located between Chania and Rethymno, making it easy to explore both cities while enjoying the peacefulness & privacy of the countryside. 2 nearby markets made grocery shopping convenient, and we found incredible restaurants in the area—Hasika in Rethymno was our favorite, with the best Greek salad & bougatsa of our trip!What truly set this VRBO apart was our host, Melina. She warmly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough walkthrough. Not only did she make us feel welcome, but she also prepared a delicious homemade Greek meal, a bottle of wine and her own Raki. Her friendly advice and attentive hospitality throughout our stay made all the difference.The house itself was spotless, with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. Great A/C & heat. The kitchen & outdoor firepit were well-equipped, making it easy to cook & enjoy meals at home. We visited several stunning beaches, including Elafonisi & Preveli but Episkopi just three minutes from the house was the best! We loved having the best of both worlds—tranquility among the olive & lemon trees while still being close to restaurants & shopping. The outdoor spaces were a highlight; we spent many hours on the beautiful covered patio, balconies to stargaze and both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces added a cozy touch.We are so glad we chose Crete for our March vacation—it was the perfect getaway, and this home made it truly unforgettable.

Wunderbarer Osterurlaub

Auch wir wurden sehr herzlich von Melina und Stelios empfangen. Sogar ein herrliches Essen, gefärbte Ostereier, eine Obstschale und Wasser im Kühlschrank hatten die beiden für uns bereitgestellt. Das haben wir noch nie erlebt und wir waren wirklich begeistert, nach der langen Anreise so bewirtet zu werden. Nicht nur die Vermieter auch das Haus war großartig. Man hat sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sehr viel Platz, um es sich gutgehen zu lassen. Unser 3-jähriger Sohn hat vor allem das Trampolin geliebt und die zutrauliche Katze, die uns jeden Tag besucht hat. Aber keine Angst, sie war die einzige Katze, die regelmäßig kam. Wir konnten unseren Sohn auch unbesorgt spielen lassen, da das Grundstück komplett umzäunt ist. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Man braucht seine Koffer also nicht unnötigt mit Haushaltsutensilien zu belasten. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig (abgesehen von den Hunden der benachbarten Schäfer, die immer mal bellen) und man ist schnell am langen Strand. Verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (sogar sonntags geöffnet) erreicht man auch sehr schnell mit dem Auto. Die Strandbars hatten zu unserer Reisezeit noch nicht geöffnet, aber das konnten wir leicht verschmerzen. Ansonsten erreicht man viele schöne Ausflugsziele im Westen und Süden der Insel innerhalb von 1 bis 1,5 Stunde oder auch innerhalb weniger Minuten wie Rethymno oder den Kurnas-See. Der Osten der Insel ist hingegen schon recht weit entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Kreta.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit den Gegebenheiten bekannt gemacht und zum Empfang gab es ein warmes Essen und kühle Getränke.Die Villa steht in einem ländlichen Gebiet. Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Auto. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können die Villa empfehlen.

Perfekt für Familien

Wir hatten eine erholsame und rundherum schöne Woche in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Inserat deckt sich genau mit der Unterkunft. Ein wirklich schönes Haus, mit allem notwendigen Dingen ausgestattet. Ruhige Lage (man hört nur die Schafe und Hunde von Zeit zu Zeit) inmitten von Olivenhainen, ein schöner kleiner Garten mit einer Menge Kinderspielzeug (unsere Kinder waren jeden Tag nur schwer zum Aufbruch zu bewegen). Der Strand mit schönem Beachclub (Sirokos) ist nahe und man hat von den Dachterrassen des Hauses sogar Meerblick. Mit der Vermieterin Melina lief alles ganz unkompliziert und zur Begrüßung hatte sie uns sogar einen kretischen Nudelauflauf im den Ofen gestellt und Obst und Wasser haben auch schon im Kühlschrank auf uns gewartet. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!

Traumhaft

Wir wurden herzlich von Melina und ihrem Mann empfangen. Für den ersten Abend war schon ein Essen im Ofen, Obst, Olivenöl, Wasser, Wein und Raki standen auch schon bereit. Wir haben uns hier sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist perfekt und super ausgestattet. Sogar Badetücher für den Strand und Bademäntel sind vorhanden. Die Lage ist auch perfekt. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß nur ca. 10 min. Wir hatten ein Leihauto und in einer knappen Stunde ist man vom Haus aus in Preveli, Matala oder Plakias. Nach Rethymno sind es nur 10 min. Dieses Haus ist wirklich zu empfehlen!
