Amazing villa in a tranquil location!

The Villa is the best quality Villa we have ever stayed in, it is luxurious. It is remote, you cannot walk to the town or to restaurants or shops but we wanted that, we wanted peace and quiet. Evina was fantastic, always in contact to help or suggest things. Would highly recommend!!

A Palace in the Hills

Just spent an amazing 5 days in this villa. The views were stunning - every morning we were spellbound looking out the windows at the mountains, valley and the sea below. It's literally like something out of a movie. The villa is modern and gorgeous - it's far above the village so extremely quiet in the evening. Evina was a wonderful host, she met us at the villa when we arrived, shared with us some of her family's house-made wine, olive oil, vinegar, and eggs from her chickens and very patiently responded to our (many) questions during our stay in Crete. The villa is very well-located. About an hour drive to both Heraklion/Knossos and Chania, and only about 20 min. away from Rethymno. The only negative was the wifi - we got good service on the 2nd floor of the villa, but none at all on the ground floor. Hard to really complain about that considering how wonderful everything else was. Besides that, it was perfect in every way. We will come back again soon!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and Evina was an amazing host. She had prepared a welcome package with their own wine and own olive oil, and she haves us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat around the island. We had a small issue and she was very quick to solve it for us. The house is nicely nested in the countryside with a nice view, but it is therefore quite remote and can’t be reached without a car. The house itself is great and has all necessary amenities, the rooms are upstairs.

Traumhaftes Haus mit tollem Garten

Das Haus lässt definitiv keine Wünsche offen. Es sieht exakt genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Toller Garten, traumhafte überdachte Terrassen am Pool und windgeschützt im 1. Stock, so dass man bei jeder Witterung eine gemütliche Sitzecke findet. Innen genauso gemütlich wie draußen. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet! Die Vermieterin kümmert sich rührend, bringt frisches Obst, Eier, Öl etc., bietet jederzeit unaufdringlich ihre Hilfe an & gibt zahlreiche Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants etc. Einfach nur unglaublich toll, fantastisches Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis!

Rethimno Atumn Stay

We stayed at the Rethimno Villa this autumn ; we were looking for location where we could unwind and relax -and the villa was perfect for out needs. That said, if you want a villa where you can walk to restaurants, bars, the beach etc, this is not the villa for you - we specifically wanted a peaceful location - so it suited us perfectly. The owner was very good at welcoming us and looking after us during our stay, but not intrusive, and made sure our stay was perfect. The villa was great, showers in every room, bath in main room; the kitchen was great and there were several very nice eating areas - all in all a great stay and have already recommended to friends. If we have any criticism it is only that the ad for the villa doesn’t really do it justice.

wonderful villa

I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. It is just as shown in the photos. The layout is perfect and everything worked as it should. The air-conditioning was great. The house was cleaned twice a week and a caretaker cleaned the pool and barbecue early every morning - all very unobtrusive. Part of the outside area is a vegetable garden for the guests’ use and every day we had tomatoes, cucumbers, melons aubergines and courgettes plus fresh eggs which were given to us! The view is stunning and every evening we were treated to a beautiful sunset. It was very quiet too. It is not far from some lovely beaches and in the next village is a fantastic butcher/small supermarket, a superb bakery and a lovely taverna. It is also easy to visit Rethymno or Chania. The owner Evina couldn't have been more helpful with advice on beaches, supermarkets etc. We will for sure return.
