Amara Villas are approved by the Greek Tourism Organization & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".
Amara Villas is a complex of three independent villas, each with its own private pool.
Amara Villa III is perfectly situated for a car-free holiday, with a sandy beach just 100 meters away, complete with private sunbeds exclusively for our guests. All essential amenities are within easy walking distance, making daily needs effortless, while the beautiful area of Rethymno and its picturesque Old Town are just 3 km away.
Spanning 210 sq. m. across three stories, Amara Villa III is designed in a chic, minimalist holiday style with high-quality furnishings for ultimate comfort. It accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, with the option to host up to 8 guests if needed.
Indoor Layout
Ground Floor
- Living Area with sofa and armchairs, 32" HDTV, pool views, and direct terrace access.
- Fully equipped kitchen with an island counter, wine cooler, 49" HDTV, and indoor dining space.
- Bedroom 1: King-size bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), ensuite jacuzzi bathtub, and adjacent WC.
First Floor
- Bedroom 2: King-size bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), ensuite bathroom with shower cabin, and veranda with patio furniture overlooking the pool.
Lower Floor
- Bedroom 3: King-size bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), ensuite bathroom with shower cabin, and direct access to the pool terrace via staircase.
- Playroom: 49" HDTV with Netflix, PlayStation 4, Bluetooth speaker, board games, and a sofa. Direct access to the pool terrace.
- Wellness Area: Sauna, gym with static bikes, weights, and two yoga mats.
- Laundry Room: Washing machine and dryer.


All bedrooms are air-conditioned and feature 32" HDTVs.
Outdoor Area
- Private Heated Pool: 50 sq. m. (1.50 m deep) with a childrens section (0.50 m deep). Heating available upon request (one-week advance notice required, additional charge applies).
- Sunbathing & Relaxation: 3 comfortable double daybeds and umbrellas and a shaded gazebo with an outdoor lounge next to the pool.
- Entertainment: Ping pong table and 2 available upon request.
- BBQ Facilities: Charcoal barbecue for outdoor cooking in a shaded outdoor dining space.
- Parking: Space for 1 car outside the villa.


**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR15 per night from April to October and EUR4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

Fantastic villa and even better hosts. Great communication, a really good welcome basket, essentials in the fridge when we arrived. A really refreshing change from the miserable offerings in places like Majorca. The only small negative is the distance to Rethymno but there are several lovely restaurants close by to compensate.

Beautiful Villa - in Beautiful part of Crete

Villa Amara was comfortable all amenities required for a holiday and the open showers and bath in the bedrooms were novel. It was very clean - the shutters, insect screens and sealed external doors kept out any unwanted visitors. The pool was perfect and our 6 month old grandson loved the jacuzzi in the pool. Location was also perfect, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants, but far enough not to encroach on our peace. Otillia our host was extremely helpful, also Etouri were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Would happily return and highly recommend.

Amazing

This property was as amazing as it was described. Otilia met us when we arrived and showed us around, and was available all through our stay if we had any questions. The property is very close to the supermarket and lots of restaurants. We did have a car but you don’t really need one. The pool was lovely, we did have it heated as it might have been a bit cold even though the temperature was in the late 20’s to early 30’s. Etorie, who manage the property were also very helpful. We will definitely consider this property again if we visit Crete again

Wow...

What a fantastic property... modern, contemporary, amazingly well provisioned - there is virtually zero not to like about Amara III Villa and the ETOURI services crew who look after it... Kostas' communications are flawless before your trip and then Adonis' approach to looking after you when you're there are equally as professional and importantly kind and considerate. The pool and outside area is cleaned every day - the pool incidentally is beautiful - we chose to have heated and whilst somewhat of a luxury at 60E per day, meant we could use 24/7. Inside the villa is superb - 3 floors mean 2 or even 3 couples could be accommodated in privacy - our 12 year old had the whole of the lower floor to herself and loved the gym and TV room/playstation for doing her thing and YouTube etc etc. Great wi-fi and the poolside speaker in conjunction meant long lazy days by the pool were fab! Local to the villa a number of small shops, supermarkets and tavernas were good - the beach a short stroll away with sun loungers for our use... In terms of location within Rethymno you're about 3kms from the old city so a taxi ride (around 10E) necessary but in conjunction with Etouri, the taxi service was a simple call and ready at the end of the short walk along the villa pathway. The old town is beautiful, fish restaurants around the harbour delightful. In summary, we will be contacting the Etouri Team again for our next trip to Crete! I can't wait!

Fabulous Villa and perfect holiday

The communication prior to arrival was excellent, the quality of the Villa is excellent and the best holiday Villa experience we have had. Un séjour inoubliable dans une villa très confortable

Nous avons passé un séjour de 18 jours à Villa Amara. La villa a été conçue et décorée avec goût et elle est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Les lits sont confortables et la literie est changée tous les 3 jours. La Villa est bien équipée et offre plusieurs possibilités de détente (piscine, ping pong, fitness, sauna, jacuzzi, jeux de société). La Villa est louée par l’agence Etouri qui était facilement joignable pendant tout notre séjour pour toutes sortes de questions. Nous avons été touchés par les nombreuses petites attentions de leur part pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
