  • Amara Villas are approved by the Greek Tourism Organization & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".

    Amara Villas is a complex, consisting of 3 independent Villas, each one with its own private pool.
    Amara Villa II is perfectly situated for a car-free holiday, with a sandy beach just 100 meters away, complete with private sunbeds exclusively for our guests. All essential amenities are within easy walking distance, making daily needs effortless, while the beautiful area of Rethymno and its picturesque Old Town are just 3 km away.
    Indoor LayoutGround Floor
    - Open-plan living space with two comfortable sofas, a 49 HDTV, pool views, and direct veranda access.
    - Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, a wine cooler, and an indoor dining area.
    - Bedroom 1: King-size bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), ensuite bathroom with stand-up shower.
    First Floor
    - Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00 m), ensuite bathroom with shower cabin, balcony with patio furniture, and a large veranda featuring an outdoor jacuzzi, table tennis, and panoramic sea views.
    Lower Floor
    - Bedroom 3: Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00 m), ensuite bathroom with stand-up shower.
    - Bedroom 4: Two single beds (0.90 x 2.00 m), convertible into a King-size bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) upon request.
    - Playroom: 49" HDTV with Netflix, PlayStation 4, Bluetooth speaker, board games, and a comfortable sofa. Direct pool terrace access via staircase.
    - Wellness Area: Sauna, static bike, treadmill, and two yoga mats.
    - Additional Bathroom: Features a shower cabin.
    - Laundry Room: Equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
    All bedrooms have self-controlled A/C and a 32" HDTV.


    Outdoor Area
    - Private Swimming Pool: 50 sq. m. (1.50 m deep) with a childrens section (0.50 m deep) with 4 sunbeds, 1 shaded double daybed, and umbrellas.
    - Shaded veranda with a dining area (direct access from the living room).
    - First-floor shaded veranda with a 5-seater hot tub, table tennis, and outdoor lounge.
    - Childrens Playground: A safe and fun space for young guests.
    - Bicycles: 2 available upon request.
    - BBQ Facilities: Charcoal barbecue for outdoor cooking.
    - Parking: Space for 1 car outside the villa.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette magnifique villa. L'équipe d'Etouri est très sympathique et compétente. Ils nous ont accompagné au mieux pour passer un bon séjour. La Crête est une île superbe avec de belles visites

Short family break

Family holiday with 2 young children, and had a fantastic time. The property is literally just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, and is really well presented. Shops and restaurants are 5 minutes walk away. Property managers were fantastic and highly communicative, and made arriving and leaving stress free.

Amazing villa with everything you could possibility need!!

Everything was exceptional. The Villa was just wonderful and spotless. The service was outstanding - was my daughters birthday on the day we arrived and our flight was a late one. After communications with the property company and giving them a shopping list they brought a birthday cake, pizza, beer, wine and even a ballon to surprise her. We were all So impressed. The town is about 45 min walk but worth it as so quaint with great backstreet restaurants however there are also a lot locally. Taxis are 8 euros into town. Wonderful holiday enjoyed by all - especially the hot tub and ping pong competitions!! 😊

Mums 60th Birthday Holiday.

Words cannot describe our holiday to Crete. booked for my mums 60th, and right from the start everyone has been so helpful in making this a special holiday for my mum. firstly the villa is amazing the pictures really do not do it Justice. Its location was perfect for us. Set in quiet street but only a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants on which there is everything you need. Bus stop short walk away. Buses regular and cheap into Rethymno. The whole team are amazing from organising Balloons, Champagne and gifts for our arrival to suggestions where to eat and visit. House keeping and maintenance do a top job keeping the villa spotless and so friendly. It truly was a magical holiday, not only the villa its location but the team for making sure everything was perfect. A holiday that will be in our memories forever.

This is a wonderful villa, beautifully maintained and supported by excellent staff who were on hand to give advice and recommendations whenever needed. There is plenty to entertain here, so even in a large group there is space and opportunity for everyone to do what they want and find space if they need. As it was beautifully hot we were in the pool or at the beach much of the time, though the hot tub was popular in the late evening. I can imagine in cooler months that the hot tub and sauna would be a wonderful bonus. Wish we'd had more time there, to make use of everything (we loved the table tennis but only played a couple of times!) The location was superb, with a gentle walk of around 45 minutes into the heart of Rethymno, so we were able to wander into town for dinner or breakfast whenever we liked. If we hadn't wanted to sightsee around the island it would have been perfectly easy to avoid car hire entirely. One major bonus was discovering that a watersports company with paddle boards and jet skis was based only 3 minutes walk away, at the start of what we called the 'sunset strip' - perfect. Would happily have stayed all summer!

Everything you need

The perfect villa for me, my two teenage children and brother. Plenty of room for us all to have our own space but great communal space when we were together. The team looking after the villa were excellent. The villa is a little way out from the main town but taxi were quick and €8. Everyone we meet during our stay was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool wasn’t heated and was too cold for us to use in October but this may have been due to the storm a couple of days before we arrived. Great stay

Sommer 2022

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i villaen 8-15 Juli. Vi var 5 voksne og 2 barn. Vi ble godt tatt imot første dagen av en i teamet som viste oss rundt. Renholdet var helt topp. Det var helt perfekt for ungene å bo i villaen, fint basseng, bra med aktiviteter, Netflix på TV-en. VI KOMMER IGJEN!!

The villa is absolutely wonderful and the best we have stayed in . Little welcome gifts on arrival and everything you require while your there. The staff at etouri arr 2nd to none and can't do enough for you and the cleaner and pool man were excellent 👌 We will definitely be going back to this wonderful villa 100% Thank-you kostas and all the team for making our trip that more special

Tolle Villa & super Service

Die Beschreibung der Villa passt sehr gut, sie ist sehr gut gepflegt und wird auch während des Aufenthalts regelmässig gereinigt. Top Service! In der Nähe gibt es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Ins Zentrum sind es 3-4 km, was entweder zu Fuss oder mit dem Taxi problemlos machbar ist. Der Strand war nahezu menschenleer, breit, sauber und auch im Oktober war das Meer noch angenehm warm. Wir können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen. Kostas hat im Vorfeld immer zügig und kompetent geantwortet, vor Ort hat uns Makis bestens betreut und Mariella die gute Fee der Villas hat immer für Sauberkeit und verschiedene Annehmlichkeiten gesorgt. Vielen Dank dem ganzen Team!

Great Villa with all luxury you possibly need

We have stayed in the Villa Amara II together with our adult kids and our mother (age range from 18-81), altogether 9 people. First to mention: the pictures represent everything exactly as it is!!! The villa provides enough space for all of us with its 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. It is very new, so everything is in great condition. The older ones stayed most of time at the beach on the private sunbeds, the younger ones enjoyed the pool, the table tennis and the jacuzzi. You have a couple of really good and inexpensive restaurants in walking distance as well as a supermarket. To explore the island it is recommended to hire a car. The kitchen in the house is not really equipped for cooking for 8-10 persons (2 pots and 2 pans), but as the food in the restaurants is not really expensive, you can go out for dinner. We had fantastic time, everybody could really relax. We will definitely come back. Thanks also to the Etouri team, who took care of everything.

Family break

we booked a trip to crete at relatively short notice after our previous holiday was cancelled. The villa was perfect for our group with plenty of space for our party of 7 adults- the villa was exactly as described and we enjoyed many happy hours around the lovely pool. The location is excellent with the beach, shops and many tavernas within walking distance. Etouri were excellent making arrangements for a number of activities and booking restaurants to suit our needs. My only small critisism is the villa is very close to its neighbours and quite overlooked. As a result we felt we needed to keep the terrace blinds down and suffered some late night noise from the neighbouring villa. Neither impacted our enjoyment of the villa overall. Rethymno is beautiful and well worth visiting.

We had a brilliant stay at Amara Villa! The villa looked brand new and had everything and more we could have needed, it exceeded our expectations!! The management couldnt have been more helpful and made our stay more enjoyable.

THE Place to Stay!!

This Villa completely exceeded our expectations - normally the photo's are magically brushed up and the reality is quite different. Not with Amara Villa II. Everything you need is there and pristine, you are moments from the beach and the town. There is adequate parking and the pool is beautiful. The Owners and Carers are extremely friendly and they cannot do enough for you. Not a single complaint from any of us and we were 8!!! Highly recommended!! Thank you Etouri!!!
