The Cocoonr agency presents to you for rental, in Rennes, this attractive 90m² house located in the heart of the historic center, in the most beautiful tree-lined courtyard in the city, in the quiet of a 17th century residence classified as a historic monument.
Cottage Livingstone can accommodate up to 6 travelers for a professional stay or a tourist visit to Rennes. Its contemporary and warm decoration blends perfectly with the history of the place.

The accommodation is composed as follows:

On the garden level:
- A living room with sofas, armchairs, TV and dining room
- An equipped kitchen including: electric kettle, microwave oven, oven, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, hotplates, etc.
- Separate toilet
On the 1st floor:
you will find a landing with office serving two bedrooms
- 2 bedrooms with a double bed (140x190)
- A bathroom with WC and washing machine
On the 2nd floor:
- Bedroom with a double bed (140x190)
- A bathroom with Wc

The house is close to all amenities, restaurants, transport and parking (Lices parking lot). You can do everything on foot.

Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park at Place des Lices, parking open from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Public transport: The République metro stop 500 m away
- Nearest station: Rennes station, 2.5 km by car / 1.5 km on foot
- Nearest airport: Rennes Airport 8.8 km by car

Other remarks:
- This apartment is equipped with wifi connection
- Cleaning is included in the rental and 4* hotel quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels). Your bed will be prepared upon your arrival.
- Animals are not allowed in the accommodation
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the indicated times is subject to the availability of the person responsible for reception. A flat-rate supplement may be requested.

It was an amazing accommodation.It felt such a privilege to be in such a historic quarter of teh city and building.Lisa was on time and helpful in letting us in. Only when we went out later and returned did we discover that we needed a code to get in the outer door into the courtyard to get to our front door! Fortunately, a resident from another adjacent apartment/cottage was just coming in and show us the code pad and gave us the code. I do not know what we would have done otherwise - still be standing out in the street!!

Incredible tucked away urban cottage. Beds were comfortable and common areas were enjoined by all guests. The entrance to the courtyard, just behind the church, was enchanting and gave the impression of entering a medieval village. Property was perfectly located near dining, bakeries, Vin Caves. Very walkable from the Vannes train station.

Below average property

Don’t believe the photos on the listing! There was never this much light in the apartment. The first floor had filthy area rugs and threadbare furniture. The leather chairs are falling apart. There were ants on the kitchen counter every day. The property has a good location in the center of Rennes. It is in a pedestrian area so it cannot be reached by car. The path to the apartment is over cobble-stoned streets, so not an easy trek with suitcases. There is public parking 300-400 meters away. The woman who checked us in was in a big hurry and gave us minimal, superficial instructions. She was very put out by the fact that she had to meet us to walk to the apartment because it was in a pedestrian-only area. Not a good place for seniors. The bedrooms are on the second and third floors up steep staircases that have no handrails. We could not figure out how to get the TV to work. The property managers did not answer our emails, phone calls and What’sApp messages to resolve this problem. We don’t recommend this property or agency!

Relaxing in Rennes

We truly loved our home away from home in Rennes. Tucked behind the Cathedral this location had it all—half-timbered, old city charm, restaurants, shopping and a nearby metro for a quick trip to the train station. The house is well equipped and our stay was very comfortable. (Note:for those with mobility issues, this is not the place for you due to Cobblestones streets and internal stairs leading up to the first and second floors.)

Lovely Cottage

This cottage in Rennes is really lovely. Place feels like a true getaway from city life. Beds are very comfy and the towels are of good quality. Ghazal from the property management company was so helpful and even came off-hours to assist with an issue (which wound up being my fault that it happened in the first place). Please note that the cottage has three floors of steep stairs and a frail or disabled person would not be able to go upstairs comfortably.

Old Town stay

Modern remodeled bedrooms & bathrooms. Cobblestone walks, LONG distance from taxi drop-off, so long walk w/ bags over rough walks. Difficult check-in, language; no hot water at first. VERY dark at night; I fell over concrete pylon & smashed my face. Need motion-sensor lighting on outside of place. Lisa kindly got us taxi for early morning. Please give her a raise! Thank you Lisa.

Pretty old building in Rennes centre

We enjoyed our stay in the very private courtyard house. The property was lovely , but small. The stairs were steep especally as 4 of us are in our seventies. Ghazel was very helpful

Wonderful oasis in Rennes!

What a charming, cozy, and comfortable place to spend a lovely week in Rennes. The location is perfect - steps away from the the city center, but tucked away in a quiet courtyard on a quiet street. We slept so well on the comfy beds, loved hanging out in the cozy living room and had fun meals at the dining table. I wouldn't change a thing and I can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Séjour agréable

A deux pas du centre ville situé dans une rue typique de Rennes au coeur du centre fait du Cottage Levingstone un lieu idéal. Très bien agencé, literie des plus confortables. Accueil top. Corentin, Julien et les équipes de l'agence Ococoonr sont formidables : souriants, réactifs, d'une gentillesse incroyable et répondant dans les plus brefs délais à vos doléances. Un petit bémol toutefois, du fait d'une demeure ancienne le séjour est très sombre et à cette époque nécessite la lumière à n'importe quelle heure de la journée. Néanmoins je recommande cet endroit très agréable et idéal pour découvrir cette belle ville de Rennes
