DESCRIPTION

Charming cottage (label gîte de France) well appointed with full foot access, airlock with independent entrance and small private terrace with view on the meadows, garden furniture, parasol.
Parking in front of the property. It is suitable for a holiday clientele who wishes to visit the south of Alsace, the Vosges or for professionals for fairs and events in the region.
Weekend rental 110 euros or short stay possible.
In winter, floor heating ensures the comfort of the cottage.
It consists:
- a private entrance,
- a clear and bright bedroom with wardrobe, TV, 1.40 m bed (sheets and pillowcases provided), bedside tables.
- a well-equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, hob and oven, electric coffee maker, electric robot, pressure cooker and washing machine.
- a bathroom with shower, wc and sink.

SITUATION

The cottage is located at the entrance to the hilly village of Reiningue which has one of the oldest monasteries in Alsace still alive today: the Abbey of Oelenberg (around 2 km from the property). A supervised body of water in the village will make you happy in summer. Reiningue is located approximately 7 km from Mulhouse West, near the University of Haute Alsace (UHA).
The gîte can be the starting point on foot or by bike for walks near the river: the Doller as well as towards the abbey and the lake in the village.
Its privileged location close to the motorway junction makes it a starting point for going to Mulhouse (10 mm), Basel (25 mm), Freiburg (40 mm) and Colmar (30 mm).
Mulhouse, city of prestigious museums, with in particular the Automobile Museum which shelters the most beautiful and the largest collection of cars in the world, the Museum of Fine Arts, Printing on Fabrics, the Railway Museum and Electropolis.
In the immediate vicinity of I Mulhouse and Reiningue the Museum of Wallpaper, the Bioscope, the Ecomuseum (authentic living Alsatian village), La Nef aux Jouets etc. ....
Located near the Vosges (30 mm) you can ski, hike in summer and visit the site of the 1st World War Hartmannswillerkopf, the Linge Memorial, etc.
The wine route will allow you to discover the villages of Riquewihr, Obernai, Kaysersberg, the castles of Haut koenigsbourg, Hohlandsbourg, etc… and to taste our magnificent Alsace wines.
Many mountain farmers' markets, the festival of mixed gardens in Wesserling enliven life in Alsace.
Many sounds and lights are organized in Alsace.
Europapark, a large German amusement park will delight young and old.
At the end of November and December many Christmas markets light up towns and villages
from Alsace and expect many visitors. Stay: 0.85 euros per night and per person for the community of municipalities + 0.09 euros for the department per person and per night.

Nachdem eine zeitliche Umbuchung mit dem Vermieter problemlos verlaufen war, kamen wir, wie im Inserat der Wohnung bei Fewo angegeben, ca. 16.00 Uhr am Objekt an und fanden eine kurze Info am Briefkasten vor, dass ein Einchecken morgens um 10.00 Uhr oder abends um 20.00 erfolgen könne. Diese Info war uns angeblich am Tag zuvor per e-mail zugesandt worden. Tatsächlich wurden wir am Abend zuvor um 20.18 Uhr über die geänderten Ein-Check-Zeiten informiert, was wir so spät natürlich nicht mehr realisiert haben. Wir mußten dann 4 Std. "toschlagen", was uns mit Hilfe der sehr netten Nachbarn auch einigermaßen gelang. Die Wohnung als solche war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es gab mehr als genug Geschirr. Das Bett war mit Überwurf und Zierkissen dekoriert, die Matratze aber so durchgelegen, dass wir uns nachts immer in der Mitte trafen. Wegen der starken Sonneneinstrahlung konnten die Fensterläden problemlos geschlossen werden, und die Wohnung war angenehm kühl. Allerdings bemerkten wir erst bei genügend Licht die unzähligen Staub- und Spinnennetzte in der Küche. Die Arbeitsplatte war mit klebrigen Rändern versehen, der Kühlschrank vereist und nicht sauber. Das sehr kleine Bad bestach durch die völlige Unmöglichkeit, Bade- und Hygieneartikel zu platzieren. Es gab keinerlei Stauraum.. Der Abfluß aus der Dusche war schlecht, aber das Schlimmste war die Toilette, der man durch den dunkelbraunen Kalkrand ansah, dass sie lange nicht benutzt bzw. gereinigt worden war. Etwas Charme gab dem Äußeren des Hauses auf der einen Seite ein wilder Garten. Der Eindruck wurde aber schnell durch die andere Seite des Gartens ruiniert. Wir wußten nicht genau, ob sich hier eine Dauerbaustelle oder ein Schrottplatz befand. Alte Bretter, Plastikplanen, ein riesiger Sand-Kies-Haufen, alte Autos und weiterer Schrott "erfreuten" das Auge des Besuchers. Wir bedauern die persönliche Situation der Familie mit der schwer erkrankten Tochter sehr, was aber nichts mit der Vermietung einer Ferienwohnung zu tun haben darf, die einfach nur ungepflegt war. Die Umgebung des Hauses, das eigentlich ganz idyllisch am Feld liegt, ist einfach schrecklich, so dass man von einer Mietung des Objektes nur abraten kann! Wir reisten dann bereits einen Tag früher ab. Wir wünschen der kranken Tochter von Herzen alles Gute und den Eltern viel Kraft bei der Versorgung, aber bitte bieten Sie diese Domizil nicht als Ferienwohnung an !!

La propriétaire est charmante et accueillante mais le logement non signalé est difficile à trouver. Le logement est placé sous une habitation dont l'aspect extérieur n'est pas très attirant(voir aussi jardin et arrière cour) . Problème de coupure de courant à l'utilisation de la machine à laver... Pas top....
