The inside of the hotel was run down. One room was even missing it's room number plague and had a piece if paper slapped (think post-it note) on the wall with the room number on it. There were stains all over the ceiling in our room (top floor, 3) from water leaking, and it appeared it was sagging. There was a huge (dinner plate) sized nasty blood looking stain on the box spring to one bed. The carpet into the bathroom was coming up, fraying about 6-8" back & 10-12" across. There were no linens for the sleeper sofa, so I attempted to call the front desk to get them. The phone in the room was broken so I called the main number to the hotel. It answered with the automated, "Thank you for calling Comfort Suites Gallup....press 2 for front desk".......I followed the prompt for the front desk but it rang through to ONE OF THE OTHER ROOMS! I tried a couple of times and it kept ringing through to the poor other customer's room....AT MIDNIGHT. So, I marched myself down to the front desk in my pj's and wild hair for the front desk guy sitting on his phone, not a care in the world. He didn't seem to care to hear about how their main number was ringing through to one of their rooms, waking a customer up.
