Middle of Dewey ,On the Bay, Close to the Beach

This vacation home is perfect for families who enjoy being close to the beach and water, with everything within walking distance.
Pelican Cove is a sought-after beach retreat, offering a comfortable and stylish space with a private sandy beach and a boat dock.
Families and professionals can expect a prompt response to inquiries.

The sleeping arrangements include a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bedroom with two full-size beds, and a full bathroom shared between them on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there is a twin bed and a full bath.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided, but beach towels are not.
There is also a pack and play.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances (except for an oven), a granite countertop, a kitchen island with seating for four, and all necessary cookware, dishes, and silverware.
A convection microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker are also provided, as well as basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, pepper, and spices.
A portable high chair is available for infants.

All bedrooms have smart TV's

Other amenities include crab traps, beach chairs, and a beach buggy. Outside, guests can enjoy a gas grill, chairs, tables, and a covered area on the beach, crabbing and fishing from the dock, a boat slip, beautiful sunsets, and an outdoor shower.
A children's playground is located nearby at the Lion's Club, close to the Northbeach restaurant.

One dedicated parking spot, and an additional vehicle can park in a guest spot. Any extra vehicles have to park on Reed Ave with a permit. The closest boat launch is at Pier Point Marina, one street south of the vacation home, where a $10 fee buys a round trip in/out use of the boat ramp.

Great Stay

We were very pleased with our stay at Pelican Cove. The unit itself was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. The neighbors were so friendly, and the location was wonderful. Thanks for a great stay!

Stay somewhere else

We arrived to a bag of vomit outside our unit. The owner of unit 2, nice, cleaned up the mess. The owner of our unit, 5, accused my 2 1/2 year and 7 year old grandchildren of making the mess. Despite the fact they weren't there when I arrived. He never apologized for the false accusation. The air-conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms leaks. It cannot be used without soaking the bed and shelf beneath it. The owner was contacted and no repair was arranged. The unbearable heat, in that room, caused my son, daughter in-law, and grandchildren to leave early. Then, he made an issue of the unit being rented for only two adults despite the fact that it is adverized for sleeping six. In addition, one bedroom is very small and the door, in the cupboard is off the track. The doors on the downstairs shower is also off the tracks. The building is an old hotel. There are seven units. There is minimal privacy. I have rented various places over the past 3 decades.This was the worst. There where even various condiments, beer, alcohlic drinks, peanut butter, jelly, and other items in the refrigerator when we arrived. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Pet friendly and close to beach/bars

This was a great dog friendly place to stay that was a quick walk to the beach as well as close restaurants. I also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit/sand bar area to hang out with my dogs and relax at the end of the day. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Cozy quarters

This unit is really in a wonderful location, directly on the Bay and only 2 blocks from the Atlantic. The included parking pass for local parking makes this a perfect combo. It is a smallish unit, the single bathroom being the limiting factor, but there is an enclosed outdoor shower if you are really in a pinch. There is a powder room also. It is outfitted with most everything you could want (we didn't find any bath soap or shower gel, but that was the only missing item, perhaps an oversite).The 'sand pit' area is ideal and really great for small kids-close to the house and yet all the fun of sand and water play. Plus, fishing is easy off the pier. All in all it was a great spot. Note: if you are planning on sleeping in the upstairs daybed, bring ear plugs as noise from nearby bar is quite loud until closing.
