Adorable Beach House in perfect location

This charming four bedroom, two full bath beach house is ideally located between Dewey and Rehoboth Beach. Park your cars in the abundant parking area and let them stay there while you walk to everything this resort area has to offer.
Once your beach cart is loaded for a sun-filled day at the beach, be sure to stop at Fifer's Farm Market Café for coffee or sandwiches before walking the two blocks to the ocean; or you may prefer to walk the three blocks back to Rehoboth Bay for crabbing and fishing, and watching the wind surfers.
After your day in the sun and waves, easily rinse off the salt and sand in the oversized outdoor shower and relax on the patio or unwind on the hammock in the secluded backyard under the shade of the large tree.
It's an easy walk to the restaurants, events, and nightlife in Dewey; or ride your bikes through the quiet streets past Silver Lake into Rehoboth for dinner, amusement rides, or stroll the boardwalk. The Jolly Trolley is always an option with a pick-up location only one block away.
If you choose to stay in, the air-conditioned house has all the amenities needed to ensure your vacation stay is perfect. There's a well-stocked kitchen, a living room with oversized couches you can sink into and watch your favorite TV shows and movies on the 52" HDTV with expanded cable channels, and Wi-Fi internet to stay connected while you're away. You may want to enjoy some outside evening time on the patio where there's a privacy fence, string lights, and plenty of seating. Tucked away off the kitchen you'll find a full sized front-loading washer and dryer and a mini fridge to accommodate that extra space always needed for drinks and water.
At the rear of the house is a master bedroom with a king bed and ample closet space, while the other rear bedroom has a queen and twin bed. The third bedroom has two bunk beds, a twin-on-twin bunk bed and a twin on full bunk bed, and the fourth bedroom contains a full bed. The bedrooms will provide sleeping space for up to 12 people.
Be sure to take advantage of the tax-free shopping at the many shopping outlets or the free Monday Night Movies on the Beach and Wednesday Night Bonfires for the families with children. Whatever you choose to do during your stay you'll soon realize that you are perfectly located to do everything in this popular Delaware beach area.

Perfect house for a beach get away! Easy walk to the beach as well as the Dewey beach bars and restaurants. The house was very clean and up to date. We loved the outdoor patio area. Perfect for sitting out and socializing. The kitchen was well equipped making cooking/eating in a breeze. A ton of beds that was perfect for our group of friends but would also work great for a few couples & kids. Outdoor shower and hose was convenient for clean up after the beach. Highly recommend this home for your next beach stay!

This was our third summer in a row visiting Shawn's house and it's become a real family tradition! I think the fact that we keep coming back says it all but just in case, I'll add that the house is spacious with 4 bedrooms and well equipped with kitchen and laundry supplies. The best part is it's walk-able to an awesome section of Dewey beach and a few steps from Fifer's Market! Also walkable to the stores and restaurants in Dewey; our family loves the VanderWende's in particular. :)

This house was perfect for a family vaction. The house comfortably fit our two families for a total of 8 people. The location was walking distance to restaurants and activities while maintaining a quiet neighborhood feel. The beach was a quick walk away and the outdoor shower and patio made life so much easier when returning. Everything we could have needed was available.

College Senior week

Our stay was incredible. My 11 friends and I came and we loved our whole stay. We were able to walk to the beach no problem, grill dinner together, and sleep comfortably! Shawn responded so fast with any quick answers we needed. We are thinking about coming back soon!

Family beach getaway

Vacation house was cute and more spacious than I thought it would be. For the most part it was clean. The rental was centrally located in walking distance of the beach and restaurants which was very nice. My family and I would consider renting this rental again.

Great Place in Great Location

This house looks small on the outside, but there is so much room. Comfortable slept 9 of us with room for 3 more. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, coffee makers, and even a waffle maker. The location was great for an easy walk to the beach and restaurants and shops in Dewey. We really loved the outside patio area with the shower. Shawn was on the ready to answer any questions within a very short time. Really above and beyond what we expected.

Another great stay at Shawn's house!

This was our family's second stay at Shawn's house and it definitely won't be our last! The location is amazing - walking distance to the beach and across the street from Fifer's Market. The house is decorated with a cute beach them. With three bedrooms (including a room with two bunk beds) and two bathrooms, our family of 6 always has more than enough room. Shawn is very responsive. I'm already planning to book for 2025!

Quick Trip to the Beach

With a plethora of options down by the Delaware beaches to choose from, if this charming home comes up in your search … BOOK IT! Shawn and Megan are great hosts and keeps you informed of what there is to do each day. The property itself is lovely, spacious, and such a quick walk to the beach. Fifers Market is across the street for grabbing a quick breakfast and most of the other restaurants are about a 5-10 mins walk away. Would definitely look for future dates.

Perfect Location

Best House for Our Family!

Our family loved Shawn's house! It's closer to the beach than I thought. The market across the street could not be more convenient. It's an easy walk to downtown Dewey and short drive to Rehoboth. The house is spacious with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, which greatly reduced the fighting between our kids. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Beach Getaway!

Wonderful property and location. The owner is courteous and kitchen is well-stocked with pots/pans, etc. so we could save a little money by cooking for our kiddos at the beach house instead of eating out as much. The outdoor shower comes in handy after a dip in the ocean! The Fifer’s Market nearby has yummy donuts and farm-fresh produce, too. This is our second summer trip here in a row! We love it here!

Great location and size!

The house was really nice, had plenty of dishes, platters and pots/pans to make meals at home. Walking distance to downtown Dewey restaurants and a quick drive to anything else you might need. Beach was a few blocks away and the outdoor shower came in handy, especially with a toddler. Grill was a little outdated and burned unevenly. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect place for what we needed.
