  • The perfect luxury coastal property to enjoy this magnificent location on the harbour front of Portreath, just a stone's throw away to the wonderful surfing beach and local amenities.

    Harbour Masters House is a beautifully presented coastline residence, set on the harbour wall in a frontline position with uninterrupted views of the harbour and across Portreath beach. This property is attractively furnished with very high quality furniture and fittings and is impeccably presented, with the benefit of numerous balconies to compliment further the spectacular views. A beautiful location to enjoy the views and watch the harbour activities with fishing boats immediately beneath you. The accommodation is spacious and very light with an open-plan living area and paved terrace for outside dining.

    The spacious entrance lobby, perfect to store your boots and coats after a long day of walking the beautiful coastal path; or to dry the little ones off after a day on the beach, leads to the two good-sized ground floor bedrooms; one with a double bed and large sit-in windows, the perfect spot to sit and read a book or gaze out to sea, and another with two single beds (can be linked as a super-king size bed on request) and views looking out over the harbour. Both bedrooms conveniently have en-suites, with the twin bedroom boasting a separate bath where you can sit back and relax after spending a day exploring.

    Stairs lead up to the open-plan living area where you will find the stylish, well-equipped kitchen with a range of integrated appliances, American style fridge/freezer, double electric oven, microwave, and the all-essential dishwasher. The dining table sits comfortably within the kitchen area seating eight guests and leads to the cosy sitting room where you will find comfortable seating, a wood burning stove, smart television and bi-folding doors to the spectacular terrace looking out to sea and over the harbour, an ideal setting to watch the sunsets over al fresco dining or enjoy a morning coffee watching the sunrise.

    Follow the stairs up to the top floor to two further bedrooms. Bedroom three, a lovely versatile bedroom boasting elevated views over the harbour, can conveniently be made up as either a super-king bed or two single beds on request and has an en-suite shower room. Finally, the beautiful master bedroom with a stylish king-size bed and smart television, also benefits from an en-suite shower room and, not one, but two balconies. One providing stunning views over the harbour and Portreath beach, and the other looking out to sea.

    A truly spectacular location and stylish property, perfect for making those special family memories.

Cornwall Holiday

Harbour Masters House is a beautiful property how a few small adjustments would make it perfect There were not any wine glasses , only 8 dinner plates so we had to put the dishwasher on after each meal. The property was dirty with dust and dirt on the windowsills and under the sofas and skirtings the kitchen units required cleaning the toilet paper supplied was cheap quality and a dressing table and chair would of been useful in the master bedroom

Slightly disppointed

The biggest drawback of the Harbour Masters House is the very strong unpleasant smell especially at low tide.We compared it to our stay in Seaside House 2 years ago which we liked so much more and were amazed to find is £1000.0 a week cheaper.The position and view are so very much nicer;it sleeps the same number of people .Our friends the Vernon family were there this year while we were at the Harbour Masters House and we visited them and felt envious!Cornish Hideaways are very good to deal with and most helpful.The only tiny criticism is that we were told a couple of dish washer and washing machine tablets would be there to start us off but there was no sign of them though we looked carefully.The beds are comfortable and were made up as we requested and we were grateful for the welcoming pack.The only other slight frustration was the parking spaces outside the house are very hard to access because of parked cars in the narrow lane leading to the house,so we ended up parking in a near by road.We had wonderful weather and a lovely holiday but ,mainly because of the smell,would probably not want to rent this property again and we did feel it was over priced(e.g.compared to Seaside House.)

Great relaxing stay

Lovely location, great views, peaceful, House design good. Mattresses were hard for us. Windows and glass panels had murky salt spray/marks on arrival couldn’t look out...my husband cleaned them! Parking with a large car is difficult, def not big for two! A couple of multi surface/toilet cleaning products would have been great, besides the polish and dishwasher stuff.
