The Best of Boa Viagem Beach/Protective Coral Reefs/Close to Everything

This is our home in Brazil where we come to escape the cold and wet winters in the U.S. We recently purchased this apartment and completely remodeled and furnished it with all new furniture and appliances. We occupied it for the first time in November, 2016. So, if you are looking for a very comfortable home environment that is maintained to very high standards of maintenance and cleanliness, located in the very best part of Boa Viagem Beach, this is the apartment for you. The 1300 square feet/120 square meters of living space provide for ample comfort.

The most attractive feature of the apartment is the living room veranda. We removed the veranda door and part of the wall, making the veranda part of the living room. To maximize the light and the ocean view, we had accordion windows (janelas cortinas) installed that, when retracted, bring the outdoors in. Then we raised the veranda floor 10 inches/26 cm, which provides a gorgeous view of the beach through the 12-foot-wide window. With the large windows, you are able to enjoy the cooling, gentle breezes of the ever-present trade winds.

The apartment is located on the 10th floor of the apartment building, affording an excellent view of the beach from the living room and two of the bedrooms. The beach is literally just across the street from the apartment building. The water is warm all year round, and at low tide, protective coral reefs provide for safe swimming at this section of the beach.. There are 4.54 miles of broad sidewalks and dedicated bike paths along Boa Viagem Beach. Joggers and walkers are seen at all hours of the day and early evening, getting in their daily workouts. There are several exercise stations along the Avenida available for public use at no cost. Also, there are tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts and a skate park. There are bicycle rental stations located along the Avenida, as well as several very nice playground areas for children. All of these things are only a 10-20 minute walk from our apartment.

Within walking distance are found many restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, banks, pharmacies, hotels, and much more. The Bairro (Neighborhood) of Boa Viagem is the most upscale part of Recife, known for its quality restaurants, popular nightclubs, and large shopping centers.

Boa Viagem is clearly the most sought-after neighborhood in the city. Our apartment is located in the best section of the beach for safe swimming and proximity to restaurants, etc.

Passamos duas semanas no apartamento. Todo processo de checkin e checkout foi muito facilitado. O local estava limpo e condizente com o anúncio, todos aparelhos de ar-condicionado estavam funcionando também. A vista para praia é linda e a comunicação com os anfitriões foi bem tranquila. Recomendo!

"Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cet appartement. La localisation est idéale, à proximité de tout ce que nous voulions explorer. L'appartement est spacieux, bien agencé, et offre une vue magnifique sur la mer. Malgré la chaleur brésilienne, l'appartement est très bien ventilé, ce qui a rendu notre séjour très agréable. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables, avec de la climatisation dans chacune d'elles, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer. Les lits sont vraiment confortables. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Un grand merci pour cette expérience inoubliable, nous recommandons vivement cet endroit !

It was the second time we stayed at Bob’s and Dalva's apartment in Boa Viagem, and we loved it just like we did the first time. The apartment was well-cleaned, nicely decorated, and taken care of, the communication with the host was always easy, and they were so lovely and helpful with everything we needed. Spectacular views

Our family traveled a long way to visit Recife, and we were a little nervous about whether this home was “too good to be true”. Upon arrival, our concerns disappeared. It’s a wonderful, spacious home. I say home because it isn’t just a rental. We felt at home, comfortable and inspired by the daily views of the ocean and easy access to everything that we could have wanted to see or do. Plus the hosts were very responsive.

Beautiful Apartment

This apartment is beautiful. It is very open, clean, and has a fantastic view of the beach. You are on the beach, just steps away from the water. The kitchen is nice and has everything you need. The entire place is well kept, and is very clean, and comfortable. The views from the windows, of the other buildings and of the beach makes you want to gaze all day and night at the view. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night and eagerly getting up just to gaze at the view. You can clearly hear the waves crashing on the beach. From the blue green view of the ocean, and blue skies, to the glorious sunrise, or moon rise, you will find yourself falling in love with this place. It is centrally located, close to markets and shopping. In my opinion, this part of the beach is nicest on the main stretch of Boa Viagem. I enjoyed walking along the ocean in the early morning as the magnificent sun would rise. The building has security, and the staff is friendly. There are patio chairs and tables on the floor level in front if you wish to relax and enjoy the view of the beach and action on the walkway and street. We spent many days just walking out to the beach and lounging on the beach chairs, under the large umbrellas where you can order drinks or food to be brought to you. A beach bums paradise. From fresh cut delicious coconut water, to Caparinha or soda, you will find it hard to remove yourself from the beach. Not to mention the beautiful emerald green to blue ocean right in front of you. The views make you take many deep sighs of comfort. My fiancé and I admired how the people servicing you at the umbrella chairs , at your request, will bring you a kids pool and fill it up with ocean water so your child or children can have their own private pool to play in. The owners of the property are very, very kind. My fiancé and I had the most amazing time, we could not be happier with the comfort and experience we had at this beautiful apartment. Thank you Bob and Dalva for everything!

I stayed at Bob's and Dalva apartment in Boa Viagem with my husband and our family, and it was incredible! we enjoyed the amazing view of the beach, the perfect weather and the delicious food around. Passamos 18 dias na maravilhosa “ casa no Brasil” de Bob e Dalva. Eu, meu marido minha filha , meu genro e minha neta amamos e curtimos muito aquele belo é confortável apto. E o que falar da nossa vista pro mar ..? Inspiradora! De tirar-vos-eis fôlego de tão bela. E quando tinha lua… apaixonante. Saímos de lá com vontade de ficar. Muita vontade!
