Our stay was consistently underwhelming. On arriving at the hotel reception, we were told the glamping pods are only accessible on foot because the chair lifts stop operating early. The hike is a steep, exhausting 20‑minute uphill climb — we were given a map and told to find our own way there. At no point were we informed about this beforehand.
After finally reaching the pods, we discovered there was no fridge and no drinking water provided, only the bathroom tap. There were no signs indicating whether the water was safe. Dinner and breakfast are served down at the hotel, which meant that after a long day of travelling, we had to hike back down and back up after dinner. We asked if the water in the pods was drinkable and at first were told it's not safe. The manager was rude, dismissive, and openly laughed with other staff while we were asking a perfectly reasonable question. He then tried to sell us a 0.5L bottle of water for €4, which felt like blatant gouging.
Breakfast & dinner were extremely basic: instant coffee, water, and a very limited selection of food. Anything beyond that — soft drinks, etc. — comes at an extra charge.
To top it off, on the last morning we awoke to find no running water coming from the bathroom?! This is inconceivable, considering the price we paid, and zero form of compensation or acknowledgement was offered.
Overall, the glamping pods are marketed as a premium wellness experience, but the reality is uncomfortable and poorly managed.
