"The Navatara was exactly what we were hoping it would be, a small quiet hotel where we could relax by the pool while being able to explore the area by car away from the madness of some other areas.
It is nicely located just a short walk up from Rawai beach so you can go out for an evening meal without the need for a taxi. The room was clean and decorated in a traditional style with solid teak furniture and handmade elements. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. If we ever come back...

"Room 78 had AC that was not working properly and the ceiling fan sounded like a truck that was about to lose an engine. The receptionist did not want to move me and the "engineer" had to come a fiddle with everything. It was an unnecessary, time consuming, and unfriendly process. But, they decided to move me to room 70 which was perfect. The only hot water in all the rooms is in the shower. The sinks have only tepid cold water. The food is top notch and the beach views are excellent while...

"This is a great all around accommodation. Phuket is a very large area so getting around always involves a car service ( or motorcycle which I won’t do ) but many beaches can be found by boat from Chalong Pier, by Longtail boat from the nearby beach or my favourite Nui Beach, a 300 Baht drive plus then a 2km hike in. A great way to stay in shape!"

"Large size rooms, located in a place where you see more locals than tourists. Very relaxed atmosphere. Only downside i have is that the rooms are not sound proof at all so you can hear everything from footsteps outside to your neighbours. Lots of friendly cats around the hotel and the staff are so friendly. Felt at peace. "

"The pool was enjoyable but they need to cut back the vegetation to allow the sun for lounging poolside.
The ice maker in the refrigerator kept icing up making it necessary to defrost the freezer portion. But overall we completely enjoyed our stay. Location is very good and the staff are friendly and accommodating. "

"Leuke accomodatie aan het einde van prive weg. Aan het begin van deze straat is een 7 eleven. Je krijgt gewone baddoeken en speciaal voor je prive zwembad. Enig groot nadeel zijn de bedden. Veel te hard!!"

"Property is excellent, good facilities and comfortable bed. Could possibly do with good maintenance and shower drain water is blocked / slow moving and broken toilet seat. Staff are friendly and polite but on the day there was no power in the resort, we were offered only 1 alternative i.e. transport to the nearest beach which we didn't intend to go. Children play area is nearby but limited. Cleaning only once during the 2 weeks of our stay. Overall great place to stay with children, great pool...
