Quick get away
I couldn’t have asked for a better humble cottage in rural SC. I would say a pool would have came in handy vs. the hot tub lol. I finally saw the goats when I took the trash off so that would have been a good walk and animal petting adventure for next time. The VRBO cat. “Mr. Paws” as I call him, was the best part of it because I missed my cat whom had to stay at home.

Peaceful, clean, and great for a long weekend
This was a beautiful property, perfect for a long weekend away (especially if you're into nature - lots of cool birds and frogs around!). It was very clean and welcoming, too, with nice little touches. My partner was raving about how nice the shower was and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet while sitting on the porch at night (and we definitely enjoyed the cat!).

Cozy
We loved this away from the city cozy home. Not too close and not too far from the main city. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. I personally also enjoyed the company of a very friendly kitty that lives right outside. The neighbor does have a dog that may occasionally come over, so if you love animals this is the place to stay. The owners have a small farm across the street, we got to pet the horses! It was definitely the right decision for us to book this home and enjoy the country life. We're both from a busy city so this was what we needed. Thank you!

Loved it!
The property is exactly as listed, very clean, and perfect for our family of 4. The tv and hot tub were added just before we arrived and were a nice surprise. While the hot tub doesn’t have jets it was still a great way to relax in the evenings. We brought drinking water after reading the reviews about the sulfur water, but there is a filtration pitcher that makes the water drinkable. The hosts promptly responded to any questions. We’d definitely stay here again!

Everything was advertised. All the other reviews you read are also accurate. We came down from Michigan and selected this place. Owner was very responsive through text. There was an issue with the dates selected – but handled properly and immediately. Yes, its rural, but not too bad. We actually liked that it was “away” from the city, but not close. It takes MAYBE 20min to hit the city from the house? If that. Yes, the internet is provided by Verizon and its spotty. After reading the reviews, I brought my own internet with me. I have a T-Mobile internet box. Quick tip – go in the settings and turn off 5G. Let the box run 4G instead (if you have T-Mobile) and the internet is A LOT better. Better than the Verizon that is in the house. The cats were friendly. We have four kids. 10, 9, 7 & 3. They absolutely loved the cats. We have cats at home too. If you are not a cat person, you can just put them outside. If you love cats, let em in LOL. Place was very clean. The family games that were out on the porch were a nice touch. We played the family games as there was no TV in the house. Which honestly, is a good thing. Great way to unplug and just be with family. You don’t need a TV =) It is built like a duplex, so there is a neighbor, but they were very quiet and there is a privacy fence. We would see a car gone in the morning and parked late at night. So they were coming and going, but we never heard nor even saw them. We would wake up and the car would be gone. We would come home late at night, and the car was parked. Never saw them. Never made a noise. That’s pretty much it. The pictures are legit. What you see is what you get. We have saved the property and phone number for the owner for future reservations. We will use this property again, as we frequent the area a lot when we come down from Michigan.

Restful
Restful place to stay. Not too far from the city but it is out in the country. Very clean. There is no TV and internet signal is not good so bring a good book to read. If you are allergic to cats you might not want to stay here. Two kittens were entertaining but they run in when the door is opened and jump on counters and furniture. Decorated with soothing colors. The well water there has sulphur in it so you may want to bring drinking water. Sulphur water tarnishes silver so you will want to remove your jewelry before showering. Overall it was a peaceful place to stay and met our needs.

Peaceful and Relaxing
We had a wonderful time. The place is exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated. My favorite part is the screened porch. Sitting out there at night was amazing. There was 2 lovely kittens to play with. They were so entertaining. I would recommend this property.
