Muri Kite Moana - Vistas a la laguna

A 5 minutos del Pacific Resort hay una pequeña carretera familiar que conduce a Kite Moana. Con vistas a la fabulosa laguna Muri de Rarotonga, Kite Moana tiene hermosas vistas desde el balcón del paso de Avana y los dos atolones de Motutapu y Oneroa. Un lugar perfectamente tranquilo para leer o sentarse y tomar un sorbo.

El amplio y amplio balcón de Kite Moana se extiende alrededor de tres lados de la casa, proporcionando un amplio espacio para que todos no hagan nada. Las puertas correderas desde el balcón permiten el acceso a la sala de estar principal, el dormitorio principal y la brisa de los océanos que sale de la laguna.

El salón interior principal es espacioso y está dividido entre el área de entretenimiento, el comedor y la cocina moderna. Las vistas de la laguna Muri se pueden tener a través de las grandes puertas correderas desde cualquier punto de vista. El dormitorio principal también tiene puertas corredizas que dan al balcón con vistas al océano y al bosque sin tener que levantarse de la cama ... y su propio baño. El segundo dormitorio tiene camas individuales, lo que hace que Kite Moana sea perfecto para unas vacaciones familiares.

La casa en sí está rodeada de árboles de la flor nacional de Rarotonga, la Tiare Maori (gardinia de siete pétalos) que florece a diario casi todo el año y tiene un aroma hermoso. También hay un gran árbol de mango en la propiedad que a menudo está cargado de mangos maduros en el verano.

Más allá de Kite Moana está Muri, a poca distancia de excelentes playas, restaurantes, cibercafés, tiendas de comestibles, perlas negras, natación, snorkel, remo y kayak. Y nada a tu propio atolón para explorar.

our stay at this property was awesome, we had a view that was amazing everyday and miss very much. the place has every thing you can want and need, i didn't really need any contact with eddy cause he made sure there was no need to get intouch with him. i would say you might need a big car to get up the rocky road to get to the house, but kite moana is a place me and family would go back to holiday again, awesome place

Property presents exactly as photographed, is well equipped and very clean on arrival. Little extras like milk, copious tea/coffee, sugar and some items like pepper grinder were much appreciated. Only thing we felt should be provided is a SMART TV, so that guests can at least get access to U-Tube..?We loved our stay at Kite Moana, the peace, privacy and close proximity to all the Muri eateries, cafes plus easy access to Lagoon, make it a real treasure and pleasure to stay.

Great place to relax

This property was a lovely homely space for my friend & I to totally relax in. We had a room & bathroom each which was perfect as we often needed showers at the same time after our daily beach swims. There are restaurants, a bakery, a juice bar, great places for coffee including The Fix & My Cousin's Place, bars & resorts serving cocktails, all within walking distance. A great deck to watch the sunrise every morning. We loved it!

Muri Kite was absolutely fantastic for our two week stay. It was central and had a wonderful outlook over Muri Beach. We loved having a full kitchen to self cater and it was lovely spending time on the veranda with the beautiful sea breezes! Our host, Eddie, was the best. He answered all our questions and was just brilliant with all his advice.

Excellent Property and well located

We had our Rental Vehicle delivered to/from our cottage; our cottage being located a very short distance from Muri where there were excellent Restaurants and the nearby Night Food Market. The local bus (Clockwise and Anticlockwise) stopped opposite the property's driveway which is identified 'ARIKI'. Our 10 day stay at Kite Moana was most enjoyable and we will seek to book this cottage again on a return trip. Within the cottage everything was clean; showers in both bathrooms were excellent and beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. There were ample towels in cupboards as well as a well stocked kitchen. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the existing curtains in the Main Bedroom to ensure complete coverage of sliding doors, not for privacy sake but to prevent spotlights from an adjacent property (apparently triggered by motion sensors) from shining into the bedroom. We remedied this inconvenience by hanging a towel on the veranda deck's clothe's line. Yes, there are free range 'chooks' but they are everywhere, even in the Airport's Arrival and Departure Lounges. Some visitors might object to the 'crowing' by roosters but that is part of the natural environmental of the Island. Our Host (Eddie) although off the Island and abroad in Europe contacted us seeking to confirm everything was to our liking, offering to attend to any complaints we might have had. We had NONE. We look forward to our next visit.

We loved our time at the house, despite the horrendous weather. There were books, a puzzle, well equipped kitchen, so we could still enjoy our time stuck inside. The host was quick to respond to questions. Will stay again if we get the chance.

Disappointing

The house is fine and met all our expectations, however there is a leaking solar water unit on the roof, which triggers the water pump to turn on every 10 minutes. The pump is located outside 2nd bedroom and was very noisy and disturbing- and no one could sleep there. We couldn't use that room, had to drag the mattress to the living area. Also tv doesn't work at all. We tried contacting Eddie the owner and/or manager about the leaking water situation numerous times. Calls went to voicemail and we never got a response. House was also rather hot, no air conditioning and fans barely kept us comfortable. Until water unit/ pump situation is fixed, I would not recommend this home.

Cute Kite Moana

We had a great stay at Kite Moana. The house is cute, in a superb location and so close to Muri. Amazing decking with views of the lagoon. Neighbours were quiet. Our host was great to deal with, easy to contact and very responsive to any queries. Our only other comments are about the driveway which is a bit steep and bumpy in places, and the water pump which is noisy at night for those in the closest bedroom. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

No problems with organizing. Nice to come home and rest under the lounge ceiling fans. Large varanda made it very pleasant outside also. Negatives, the showers need a little maintenance. The driveway is quite steep and rough. Overall a good experience.

Everything you need

Good sized house and useful amenities such as a washing machine, DVD play, and fans to keep the house cool. The coconut trees block the view of the lagoon but it's only a short (maybe 8 minute) walk to shops and Muri Lagoon. Lovely, friendly neighbourhood dogs.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is within walking distance to restaurants and shops in the Muri area. The house is roomy and very suitable for families. The large outdoor deck is huge and great for relaxing. One negative is that it is very hard to see the "lagoon views" any more as the many coconut trees throngs are largely blocking the view.

Other than noisy rosters that were going half the night, it was a lovely place to stay and for a great price but would not recommended if you want some peace and silence !! But for that price, cant overly complain. Gets a lot of Sun and we'll presented property.
