Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.

Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.

Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

This was a perfect place to stay. A nice playground for the grandson. Ducks in the back yard. The staff are very responsive and helpful. Next time we’re in Rapid City we’ll stay here again.

Great location! Clean, plenty of towels. Only complaint is kitchen could have been stocked with better/more pans and utensils. We would stay again my son loved that the playground was so close.

A wonderful location and little cabin. One morning we had difficulty with getting hot water. When I told the property owners, they had it fixed by the time we got back from our sightseeing. Great people.

Such a nice area with a beautiful lake, stream, fishing, walking/hiking trails along creek. The cabins are great-cozy with a gas fireplace, TV, comfortable beds and so clean! It was nice to have fans in each bedroom. There was extra bedding for the futon and extra pillows in each bedroom. An extra nice touch was the flavored coffee and creamer to use in coffee maker. Just a few suggestions would be for a replacement futon pad as the coils were very uncomfortable on it, a roll of paper towels and a box of tissues. Would we recommend this property? ABSOLUTELY! I can’t wait to find a reason to go back!

Our cabin was clean, comfortable and provided all we needed for a restful evening each night after a day full of hiking and sightseeing. Appreciated the convenient location of Lake Park Campground and Cabins. So close to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the Badlands. But also close to groceries, restaurants, and public park. We went for a run on the park trails every morning. Kitchen amenities were simple...so no complex cooking done..but they did have other pans available at the camp office which was nice if we had wanted to. Linens were fresh and water pressure in the shower was awesome! Made new friends in the RV parked next to cabin... cute kids. Would definitely recommend this friendly and comfortable spot to anyone coming to see the local sites.
