Large private luxury home with outdoor hot tub

This home has direct access to snowmobile trails,, hunting, and fishing. ATV trail access is 3 miles from the house. We are only 15 minutes away from Saddleback Ski Mountain, and only 45 minute drive to world class Sugarloaf USA ski resort. Just 5 minutes to Mingo Springs golf course, and 45 minutes to a championship course at Sugarloaf USA. Rangeley lakes area offers some of the nations best fly fishing in a number of lakes, ponds and streams all within 15 miles. You can spend the day doing any of the many activities the area has to offer, and then relax in the outdoor hot tub and watch the deer, moose, and turkeys pass through the yard.


About the house: The house is newly constructed with the first floor offering hardwood and tile throughout. First floor has radiant heat and a stone faced propane fireplace. The granite kitchen has all of the amenities of home including a dishwasher. The bathroom on the first floor includes a washer and dryer. The living room has plenty of seating and a flat screen T.V. with satellite and DVD. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has one king bed and satellite T.V. Bedroom 2 has one king bed and satellite T.V. Bedroom 3 has one queen bed and satellite T.V. Bedroom 4 has one queen bed. The study has one twin loft bed. The third floor has 2 bedrooms. Each has a queen bed. The open loft area has one twin bed and a foldout futon.

The perfect place to enjoy time with family and friends…spacious, comfy, and convenient to Oquossoc, Rangeley, and Saddleback. The house was beautiful and we had a blast playing pool on the pool table. It was very warm the week that we were there so the coolness in the basement helped a lot. The only recommendation I would make is to put in ceiling fans to help move air around when it is very hot like that. Other than that we had a blast.

Graduation Party

Had family from out of state come up for a graduation. There was plenty of room and the property is well maintained and clean. Property manager was in contact before, during, and after our stay and was very accommodating. Would certainly recommend.

Perfect for a Family and Friends Ski-Trip

We all loved our stay at Deer Meadow. The 3 floors of living space (plus the pool table in the basement) provided the 8 of us plenty of space to hang out together or chill out away from the group. The location is super convenient to both Oquossoc and Rangeley, as well as to Saddleback. The hot tub was a favorite activity, as were game nights around the dining room table. The gas fireplace and the Christmas Tree were added bonuses that made the place extra festive. We will definitely consider renting Deer Meadow again. Thank you, Cessarios!

Comfortable and relaxing

We were very comfortable in the house. There is plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked, as far as utensils, cookware, plates, etc.. Our family enjoyed our long weekend. Jeff was very good at answering any questions and concerns.

Lovely home, beautiful area- great stay

Very nice, clean and spacious. We’ll stocked kitchen. Loved having the extra space in the basement with the pool table. Just a note- the bedroom that has the loft is also the room you must pass through to get to the third floor- so minimal expectations of privacy in that room. But the bedrooms were all nice and clean, upstairs was great and had fans that helped keep things cool. Great place, would happily visit again.

Awesome stay

We stayed at Deer Lodge with a group of family members, including 5 kids. There was more than enough space, but still felt cozy. It was one of the cleanest properties and set up with everything needed for a great stay. The property manager was quick in his responses and very accommodating. We loved the hot tub and outdoor spaces. It was an ideal location right between Rangeley center and Oquossoc. Can’t say enough nice things about this location!

Fantastic place!!

We stayed last summer (Aug 2021) but forgot to write a review after our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home has everything you would need for a vacation! Large home with many bedrooms and tons of room to spread out and relax. Fire pit out back with lawn furniture made the back yard a relaxing extension of the house. The hot tub was awesome! Home is on a private road with very little traffic. We literally only saw 2 cars pass all weekend. Would definitely stay again!

Plenty of space and owner was great to deal with

Only issue we had during our stay which wasn't really an issue was we weren't able to get to use the hot tub as it wasn't heating up. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool table. The owner was great when it come to moving dates for our stay and changing our arrival time. Great area for adventures

Memory making week

The week at Deermeadows was wonderful! Far enough for others that we didn’t have to worry about the kids making noise, close enough to places to swim and explore that we were able to do something different everyday! The house was comfortable with plenty of space. Felt warm and welcoming. We made some wonderful family memories here!

Excellent location

The house was large enough to accommodate us. It is large with plenty of space for parking trucks, trailers and machines. It has a nice yard with a fire pit that was perfect. Great location close to the trailhead and downtown Rangeley. Communication with Jeff was easy. He was very responsive. The only negative was his cleaning company must of rushed because it was not as tidy as we would have expected. He was apologetic when contacted. We would definitely rent this property again.

Rangley motorcycle trip

Went to ride and that's what we did. Went from Rangley to Newport, VT then to Newport ME. This house was perfect. The hot tub after riding all day on 65 year old bone was the secret. Well maybe the Gentleman Jack helped. We all fell asleep in the living room with the huge screen TV. Jeff the owner great guy. And if you need a deliver person find jake.

Perfect family destination!

We had 8 adults, a 6 year old and four kids 2 and under and we had SO much space for all of us!! There was a back patio that was just poured and was a great space for kids to ride bikes and to keep less dirt going through the house. We also loved the private road it was on- sipping coffee while going for a morning walk was so peaceful! There are 3 floors (and the basement too!) with many bedrooms to choose from. If you go in the summer, I highly recommend bringing a fan or two from home to remain comfortable when it's hot out as there wasn't any AC. All adults enjoyed the hot tub on the front porch! What a wonderful way to start and end the days! The kitchen had all we needed for food prep and cooking our meals while we were there. I did wish I would've brought our cast iron pans as many of the pans are highly worn but we made due with what we had. I was surprised and glad they had outdoor chairs and the patio set for backyard and front porch sitting. We enjoyed spending time around the fire and the privacy of the property! There's also a grill we used for almost all of our cooking, with no problems at all! We spent some of the days going to Quill Hill with a gorgeous 360 degree view, Height of the Land with more amazing views, and the Rangeley State Park. We loved the local ice cream shop and stopped into Classic Provisions for breakfast on our way home the next morning. Great food and small town atmosphere! Our next family trip will definitely be on the water, but I can see us coming back in the years to come! Shoutout to working with Jeff!! He was very personable, very understanding, and immediately called when I had a question regarding check-in. Highly recommend!
