This beautifully appointed, detached wooden lodge is the ultimate romantic getaway. Inside, all elements of a relaxing holiday have been thought of and are incorporated within the modern décor. Poppy Lodge boasts the most wonderful outdoor space with a manicured garden, rattan dining furniture to enjoy alfresco dining and a hot tub ready for relaxation. Being a pet friendly property, the enclosed garden is a fantastic place for your dog to play. Comfortably sleeping two guests in the double bedroom. When you’re not chilling out in the garden or the hot tub, for entertainment there is a large Smart television with DVD player in the living room and a smaller television in the bedroom. Poppy Lodge also benefits from free Wi-Fi. The cute village of Minster can be reached 1 mile away where you are presented with all you need. There are pubs, restaurants, bakers, local convenience stores, takeaway food outlets, a library, pharmacy and more. For beach lovers, within a short drive from Poppy Lodge you will reach some of the stunning Kent beaches and bays of Ramsgate, Sandwich and Broadstairs. What a great find - everything you could possibly want for a relaxing getaway. A lot of dog friendly properties are not actually that dog friendly but Poppy Lodge is fab, our dog loved it and we felt relaxed, as she could run around without worry.Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely property. Smaller than I was thinking but had everything that we needed. Loved the yard for the dogs. Communication was great with Gary if we had any questions.

We have just returned from our first but definitely not our last stay at Poppy Lodge. What more could you ask for in a secluded romantic getaway for 2. We instantly felt it was like a home from home, lovely extras like eggs left on the side and milk and Prosecco in the fridge. Tea and coffee provided. Plenty of blankets and some games. A lovely welcome pack with lots of useful local information. There is a guest book there that we enjoyed reading through and leaving our own message. We had to contact Gary the owner and he was lovely and helpful. The hot tub was incredible we took advantage of that. If I had to find a negative that would be that the bed was very soft and dipped in the middle but that is the only thing.

Perfect stay

We had a fantastic time, the property is gorgeous and so relaxing. The dog enjoyed the amazing garden. There was everything we could have asked for. We checked out the recommended corner house and it exceeded expectations. The area has so much to see and do and the beaches were a highlight.
