The Dogwood Cottage

Welcome to your new home away from home at The Dogwood Cottage. A cozy 3BR 2.5BA home located in the heart of Raleigh bringing the comforts and solace of home to the heart of North Carolina.

Crafted in the charming Cape Cod architectural style, host your friends, family, and pets for a movie night or step outside to enjoy a relaxing cookout on the patio.

Only 14 minutes from Downtown Raleigh, 12 minutes to Cary, and 20 minutes from Durham. Enjoy everything the Research Triangle has to offer!

- Two full bathrooms and one half-bath

You will have exclusive access to the entire property.

You can check yourself in seamlessly with our Schlage Encode smart lock and keypad. (The code will be provided prior to self-check-in.)

Free parking is readily available in our driveway (please do not park in the Cul-de-sac).

To be considerate of our neighbors and to ensure the safety of our guests, we employ Minut noise monitoring (decibel monitor) in the living room common area and a Ring camera (monitoring outdoors only), as no parties or unregistered guests are allowed at The Dogwood Cottage. The MInute noise monitor only tracks decibel levels in the common area of the living room. The Ring camera is placed on the home's exterior to the left of the main entrance door and exclusively monitors the front yard and front door entrance.

You will also be asked to sign a liability waiver after your booking is confirmed. If the waiver is unsigned before check-in, the reservation will act as confirmation and acceptance of the liability waiver.

Moongaze Stays is available throughout your stay if you have any questions or requests. We will check in with you at the beginning of your stay to ensure everything is up to your standards. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us via app message, text, or call!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want a quiet place, and want to be close to stores. The owners of the house called before we got there to introduce themselves. Since we were getting in so late, they went over and turned on all the lights. That act of kindness meant so much to my family. If we go back to this area, this will be the first place we check for availability.

Clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Very close to Carter Finley and Lenovo and we were in town for the game, so perfect location. Host reached out the day before and day of to make sure we had everything we needed. Great weekend!

Spacious and well-appointed!

We had a great time here, it was a nice quiet location and the hosts were quick to respond when we had questions. Everything was in great shape and very roomy. We cooked for meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Love the personality and attention to detail, like the football table (big hit with my 7 year old and 78 year old father alike) and cozy lighting from the lamps.

Family Raleigh Trip

Me, my husband and kids (11,8,5) stayed at Dogwood cottage for 5 nights while my husband worked in the area. The home was clean, inviting, and a great location to many local attractions we were able to visit. We loved the charming neighborhood surrounded by beautiful green trees. Two bedrooms were upstairs and one was downstairs that were clean with plenty of space. As well as one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs.A few downsides: The kitchen was sparse which made it more difficult to cook for a family. No mixing bowls, bowls to put a salad or prepped food in, etc. The only TV downstairs was in the "game room" so while kids were hanging and playing the cool foosball table - there was no where for the grownups to relax and watch tv at the end of the day. A TV in the front family room would be a good addition. The property manager was friendly and was able to get us a few necessities for our stay in a quick timely fashion. THANKS FOR HAVING US AT DOGWOOD

Mother’s Day stay

Interior was clean and well appointed. We appreciated being able to do a load of laundry. The coffee/tea station was a nice touch. Location was very convenient to local shopping and PNC Stadium.
