Newly remodeled modern home near Downtown Durham. 2 miles to Durham Bulls and 5 miles to Duke University Hospital. All brand new furniture and appliances. COVID-19 sanitized Cleaning. All Hardwood floors and Porcelain tiles. Ceiling Fans, USB Chargers and TV in each room. Study Room with office Desk. Strong Wi-fi all over home. Kitchen equipped with all necessary utensils. BBQ Grill and outside dining on large lighted Deck with huge private fenced backyard. Dog welcome with no Pet fees.

The space:
Master Bedroom: One King Size Bed, sleeps three maximum. Ceiling fan. Lamps with USB chargers. Dressing Table with Mirror. Dresser. TV with fire stick. Closet with hangers.

Second Bedroom: Two Queen size beds, sleeps four. Ceiling fan. Lamps with USB chargers. Full size Mirror. Dresser. TV with fire stick. Closet with hangers.

Third Bedroom/Study: One Single size Day Bed, sleeps one. Study Office Desk with Lamp. Lamp is equipped with wireless and USB charging. You can set 5 color modes with variable intensity and timer. Closet with hangers.

Living Room: Two L sectional sofa couch comfortably seats five and sleep two people. Extra Rollaway bed and air mattress. Ceiling Fan. TV trolley with 55" HDTV with built-in fire stick. Board Games. Bar Table with two swivel bar stools.

Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms with Porcelain Tiles. Towels, bath soap, Shampoo and Conditioner. Hair Dryer is provided.

Kitchen: White Cabinets with Granite Countertop. Stainless Steel Fridge, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher and Garbage Disposal. All cooking utensils, Plates, mugs, knives, spoons, Glasses, wine Glasses and more.. Salt and Pepper. Coffee, Creamer and Sugar. Kitchen has two closets. Laundry Closet has brand new Washer/Dryer with detergent. Second closet has stored extra Pull-out single Bed, Air Mattress, Iron, and iron-Stand. Granite Island and Table with swivel bar stools.

Exterior: Large Deck with BBQ Grill, Dining Table, Chairs and Umbrella. Enjoy sitting in night with outdoor string lights all over the Deck. Fully fenced backyard. Large Front Porch.

Security and safety: Home is fully secured with Remote Monitoring. You can set Security to Home and Away mode. Entry access is with Smart Keypad. Home is COVID-19 Enhanced cleaned. Motion activated Flood Lights in front and back of home. Home is on single floor with no steps inside.

We want your stay to be cozy and comfy and we will do our best to accommodate any additional requests you may have during your stay.

My family had a great experience staying at this incredible house for two nights. It easily fit all 6 of us, plus our family dog, with room to spare. If you have a big group and need a place to stay in Durham, I would recommend this place. Also very convenient to a lot of what the Triangle has to offer.

Met the host when we first got there. Very nice gentleman. House was everything we needed. Nice location, very clean, and nice fenced in yard for the dogs to explore. Would definitely recommend this house. Will stay again if we get back to the area.

Close to Duke University hospital which was convenient for my family to come and go as needed, instead of commuting from Raleigh. Smart TVs in the two bedrooms (having one in the third room/study would have been fantastic). Host Ned responds quickly. The bed in the master was low to the ground, my elderly father had a hard time. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay.

Durham weekend

This property is exactly as advertised and pictures are very accurate . The check in process was very easy and the property was very clean . Property manager was extremely easy to communicate with . The back fenced in yard was just perfect for our dogs . Very satisfied.

Great place to stay

We are former UNC students. The region that the house is located in has changed tremendously for the better. The property was quiet and clean. We felt safe and had more than enough space to accommodate our family of 5. We will definitely stay again!

Disappointed

Allowed pets which is fine but the back deck was covered in muddy footprints from the last dog. Mud also on that entry door. Front yard had some tall weeds in the hedges. There was some kind of odor in the front of the house and the bathroom. We decided not to stay but the owner was nice and refunded us for the additional nights. We found less sleeping space than listed on the website.

Perfect house to nearby Duke and other attractions. Family was very comfortable. The owner was wonderful to work with even let us do a late check out because of early Commencement. We would definitely stay here again

NCCU and WSSU College visit

Stayed 2 nights to visit NCCU and WSSU. Perfect and quiet location. Six minutes from NCCU. Host is very responsive and accommodating. House is exactly as listed and shown. Highly recommended. We will visit again.

Just like pictures

House was just like pictures, Didn't have enough wash clothes For our stay so we went out and purchased some and left for next guess! Owner was available by phone, Back yard was a swamp land so the kids could not play in back but we made the best of it The nice size deck helped out a lot. No Blender. But we will be back just because I grew up near by Glad to see the reunification of the area taking place and owner was nice and polite JH

Great Stay!

We stayed in this rental as a last min decision to meet family halfway between our homes. The house was very nice, clean, and accurately listed. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, glasses and flatwear. There was plenty of space for all of the family, 6 adults, a teen, and a baby. Ned the host was very nice, and we had no issues. It was NYE so this transitional neighborhood was very active that night (fireworks/gunshots), and the neighbors next door literally partied until 5am. Otherwise it was a great choice.

Thanksgiving

Our stay was overall enjoyable. There was a major inconvenience however. The smoke alarm in the Master Bedroom went off in the middle of the night. There were no spare batteries or ladder to fix it. We were unable to get ahold of the host. When we called VRBO the "protocols" were unacceptable. Their solution was to move us (there were twelve) to a hotel. Since it was the middle of the night, they were unable to contact any hotels at that time. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were informed one was not available. We were contacted (via text) the next day by one but we had already resolved the situation ourselves. VRBO's protocols for this kind of situation leave much to be desired.
