Welcome to Historically Hip on Hale a charming and spacious home for your getaway for friends and family! Enjoy the bright home with an open concept and one floor living with a huge open living area, with living room, dining area, and kitchen, with a walk in pantry! There are three large bedrooms, all have king beds, smart TVs, ceiling fans, and closets,- the master bedroom is an en-suite with walk in shower and large walk in closet! The guest bedrooms are open and spacious and bright! The hall bath has a tub and shower with a nice size vanity! Enjoy your morning coffee or your happy hour on the rocking chair front porch and watch the world go by! Or relax by the fire pit in the private fenced in backyard! Pet friendly with a $200 pet fee for up to 2 fur babies. This is such a gem you won’t be disappointed with this home! Fully renovated and designed by Stacy Morgan Designs.

Hip on Hale is a gem. Hale We absolutely loved our stay at Hip on Hale! The house was spacious, charmingly furnished, and well stocked & appointed with kitchen ware, etc.,. It was also very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was lovely. The property manager was great - extremely helpful, responsive & available. We would definitely stay at Hip on Hale the next tine we visit Durham.

Fantastic

We had a perfect stay at this charming and surprisingly roomy bungalow in a terrific location. Everything was clean and new and worked!  The light was wonderful, the showers were hot and luxurious, and there were so many helpful tiuches, such as luggage stands and neat hangers in the plentiful and large closets. Stacy stayed in close but unobtrusive touch. We will definitely try to stay here again when we are next in Durham!

Durham stay

The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had nice dishes and pots and the host left us coffee, popcorn and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Place for a Durham Getaway!

We were in Durham to see a Duke basketball game, and this property was perfect! It was exactly as described - beautiful, clean, and with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The decor was tasteful, giving the place a warm and inviting vibe, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The location was perfect! We were close to Duke University, with tons of fantastic restaurants, coffee, and shops nearby, yet the property itself was in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, so we felt like we had our own little retreat. Our host was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. She provided local recommendations, checked in to see if we needed anything, and was always quick to respond to any questions. Overall, this VRBO was the perfect place to take in Duke University, unwind, and explore the Durham area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it!

Best girl weekend oasis

Met my bff for a weekend and the house was just a perfect mix of cozy chic. I always have a bag packed with paper towels, dish soap, hand soap you name it and I did not have to use one thing. Truly the house was such a nice quiet spot for a girl weekend. Showers are to die for, beds so so dreamy. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Gals Getaway

The property is beautiful and made our girls trip exactly what we wanted it to be. Wonderful kitchen, dining, and living area to share meals and coffee etc together. We took walks in the neighborhood everyday and night to admire the old homes and great landscaping, and walking distance to coffee, breakfast and even a grocery store. Short ride to anything you'd want to do in durham. Beds were super comfortable. 10/10 recommend.
