Family reunion

Good location, close to gas , Gus's and sausage kitchen also only 5 min away from lake Michigan. Neighborhood a little sketchy but no one bothered us and it was quite.

Lovely Home

The house was exactly what we needed for our family visit. It looked exactly as listed and was very clean. More than enough space for our family of 5 and then some. The fenced in yard was great for the kids to run around outside. We enjoyed the Kringle from a local bakery as well as the wine. Located close to anything you might need and anywhere you want to go.

Great Experience!

The house was great! Lots of amenities, which was really nice. A few minor things were missing, but overall no biggie. For example, coffee was provided, but no coffee filters. It's conveniently located near lots of stores, some great restaurants and the beach! Make sure you bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in, though. There aren't any curtains on the windows and it was hard to sleep past 6:00 AM. The backyard is really fabulous! The house is rated to sleep up to 10 guests, but in some ways it doesn't really accommodate that many people. For example, there were only 4 or 5 washcloths and only 4 outdoor chairs in the backyard. The second bathroom is in the basement with the washing machine and foosball table. Just something to be aware of if you're planning a gathering for the maximum number of people. Perfect for a group of 4-6, though!

Comfortable stay close to beach!

This location was nice and close to the beach, restaurants and a golf course. We enjoyed the stay. Chris was very prompt in his replies. The bottle of wine, kringle and snacks were appreciated! The upstairs got warm in the evenings... I recommended a fan for each upstairs bedroom. Otherwise, I'd just bring a fan with us next time. Back yard is a lovely place for a fire, yard games and relaxing at night. Overall an excellent stay!

Not a clean home for people to stay.

Not clean to a standard for people to stay in. The main bathroom walls/tiles back of door were filthy. The kitchen floor around the presses and especially around the cooker was stinking. The windows, sills, blinds ETC dirty. The blinds all needs replaced. No headboards on beds and the walls behind the head of beds all dirty. Def needs painted and cleaned up. The cushions and couch felt and looked dirty. The back yard and bathroom in basement were nice.

The home is very big. It has nice spacious bedrooms and a tv in every room, which is a big plus. The kitchen is very nice and well lighted. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to fast food and restaurants near by. We didn't have to drive more than a mile to find what we wanted. Overall a nice experience.

Summer Getaway

My family was looking for a relaxing week close to the beach with no daily plans. This house was very accommodating and a great place to relax after each day of adventuring. We would suggest this property to all that have the need to getaway and relax.

It was a very nice stay. It was the 4th of July and we had a cookout on the great backyard.

We were happy with the 2 bathrooms with showers. With a busy schedule it was nice to get up early and get a spot for the parade. Lots to see and do in Racine. Having a driveway to park and a grill was a bonus.

Great Vacation Spot

We had a wonderful family vacation staying at this property. Everything was very clean, Chris was very friendly and accessible throughout our stay, and the house had many things we have come to expect through our various VRBO experiences. Wonderful backyard patio with a firepit, if you're interested in those as well (no wood). A few items to note for individuals potentially staying here: 1) 2nd bathroom is in the basement (not a problem for us) 2) The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms and in the summer (we stayed in June) this floor is significantly hotter than the first floor and basement (like 10 degrees). Something to be mindful of. Please note the AC was AMAZING on the first floor though, so those 2 bedrooms not a problem at all! We had to run the AC pretty cool just to try and get some AC upstairs. 3) We love going to the zoo and beach, packing picnics. The house didn't have any tupperware or anything to utilize, so just plan accordingly. This isn't a negative at all, but wanted others to know to bring their own, or sandwich bags, etc. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Our family had a great time. The property was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The patio and the fire pit was really nice the whole house has large rooms Chris awas a great host. We highly recommend this property. Also the famous Racine Kringle was a nice touch

Great location! Great food! Close to Lake Michigan!

Responsiveness was prompt with Chris. The pictures of the house online were slightly off; we thought the basement was finished and that the 2nd bathroom was near bedrooms not in the basement. The house is stocked with everything you need to be comfortable. The beds were super comfortable!! Lots of space in the bedrooms! Disappointed that we weren't able to have a late checkout on our last day; 10am seems early!
