Excellent spacious apartment on the first floor. Lots of space. Very good bathrooms, kitchen area for light dining. Peaceful with view of garden. The only draw back was there is no lift so not for those with heavy bags or unable to climb stairs. Anne was good at communication and met us at the station as taxis don't usually want to do short journeys. 15 mins walk to the station. Slightly challenging walk if you've got heavy bags. Would recommend this apartment to friends and family

Sonnige Tage in Quimper

Die Wohnung war absolut sauber, geräumig und bestens ausgestattet, besonders die Küche. Bei unserer Ankunft hatte Frau Hervé sogar diverse Lebensmittel und Getränke bereit gestellt. Da es 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Duschen und 2 Toiletten gibt, ist die Wohnung für 4 Personen gut geeignet. Es gibt zwar keinen Aufzug, aber es sind nur wenige Stufen zu bewältigen. Trotz der optimalen Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden, war es im Haus und der Umgebung sehr ruhig. Eine Garage ist vorhanden, die jedoch von viele Tauben bevölkert und dadurch stark verunreinigt ist. Wir würden die Wohnung von Frau Hervé jederzeit wieder buchen.

Annie met us personally and introduced us to this lovely and beautifully fitted apartment despite our delayed arrival. It is situated in a very convenient safe and quiet location in this lovely town. All the modern conveniences have been provided in this lovely building. Keep in mind that there is no lift. We would definitely stay here again.

Cathedral in the backyard

Annie's appartment was an excellent choice for our four-day stay in Brittany. The location was absolutely faboulous, just meters from Quimper's beautiful cathedral. Restaurants, picturesque old streets and beautiful Saturday market were within a short walking distance as well as boulangerie for our fresh morning bread. There is a garage close to the apartment, which provided a safe parking space in the middle of the town. Quimper is a great base for exploring Finistere and Annie is a great host, having shared with us all important information and even having left us something to eat and drink. Thanks, Annie, for having us, our experience was absolutely great.

Excellent Stay!

The apartment was charming, extremely clean, comfortable and located just a few minutes walk from everything in old town Quimper. We were able to explore every corner of the old town by foot and enjoy its many cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Best meal we had was at a restaurant called Le Cosy. The Patisserie Le Meur had the best coffee and pastries. Everything about our stay at this lovely apartment was excellent. Especially the warm welcome we received from Annie and the way she took time to explain everything we needed to know about the parking and the apartment. Thank you Annie! We will definitely book this apartment again for our next visit to Brittany.

Excellent Choice for Rental in Quimper

This is a very nice apartment in a superb location in Quimper; you can walk to most everything in town including many nice restaurants. If you prefer to eat in, the kitchen is well-equipped. Annie Herve is a kind and generous host. Free, secure parking makes it easy to take daytrips.

Perfect for Quimper and area

A very comfortable and well appointed apartment in the heart of Quimper. I can't imagine a better location for visiting the city, which turned out to be delightful. Also, getting in and out by car was easy, so we used this as a base for sightseeing in the area. We had everything we needed in the apartment and it was very quiet. The beds are very comfortable. The small nice touches from the owner, Annie, were greatly appreciated.

Perfect Stay and First Experience with Home Away

Unser Urlaub in Quimper

In unserem Urlaub in der Bretagne bewohnten wir 2 schöne Wochen lang die Ferienwohnung Faubourg Saint-Corentin von Mme Annie Hervé. Sehr zentral gelegen und dennoch ruhig, gut ausgestattet, 2 Duschen und 2 Toiletten. Mme Hervé gab und am Anreisetag alle notwendigen Informationen zur Wohnung, wertvolle Informationen zur Gastronomie, den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und dem Nachtleben in Quimper, ihre Telefonnummer für den Notfall und zeigte uns den Briefkasten, in den bei der Abreise die Schlüssel zu deponieren sind. Eine besonders nette Geste von ihr: Bereitstellung eines ersten Frühstücks und einer Flasche Wein. Es war schade, dass am Abreisetag ein Treffen mit Mme Hervé nicht mehr zustande gekommen ist, um eine gegenseitige Rückkopplung über unseren Aufenthalt geben zu können. Auch eine gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung hat immer noch Verbesserungspotential, auch wenn es nur so etwas banales wie ein fehlender Handfeger ist. Peter K.

Perfect in every way!

First of all, Quimper is a wonderful base for Brittany and we could have stayed at least 5 days! We were in the apartment 3 days and nights and it was wonderful-clean, ideal location in the Old Town, modern bath and kitchen in an old stone building with large living space and bedrooms. Our luggage was lost and Annie saved the day by phoning the right people and tracking it down-we were so grateful! She had beautiful rose wine, milk, juice and coffee along with breakfast breads and biscuits and jam and butter- all a nice surprise and a perfect start! Annie explained everything about the apartment very clearly, gave us great restaurant suggestions and even helped me find a salon for a haircut-really exceptional attention to her guests! Our only regret was that we did not spend more time in Quimper and at this particular apartment- it was an amazing place in itself and was a great central location to the entire area!

Immersion in Quimper

This well-equipped, large apartment is only one minute walk from the main square. Our stay was very pleasant and we will stay here again. Quimper is such a wonderful city. The apartment is also one minute from two museums: Musee des Beaux Artes and Musee od Bretonne History. Both for the very fair admission of 7 Euros. Well worth it. Some minor irritations: it was noisy with partying on a Saturday just outside the apartment in the 1-4:00 a.m. time frame, and the internet connection was spotty (down for an entire day). Both of these things are no reflection on the quality of our lodgings, of course.

Perfect host and location

The whole experience and stay was very good. Annie is perfect host. She picked us up from train station and took directly to her apartment. Then she showed and told us everything we needed to know. Including some local recommendations which we followed and did not regret at all. We only wished we stayed at least one day longer but maybe next time. Annie thought about everything and knowing that we are coming in the evening she left us some basic food like very tasty local breads, butter, milk, jam, juice and wine. Very thoughtful and very appreciated. Apartment was huge, it seemed bigger than on pictures. It is located in quiet street just metres away from Cathedral, museums and beautiful old town. It is also very close to train station and local buses so it is prefect base for visiting other places in region. As mentioned - it is in quiet location so we had good night sleep, apart from one day when somebody above us had late party. We woke up in the night hearing strange noises like somebody jumping, then heard music or mostly base. It was around 2 am and continued to 4 am but it never repeated again so we were probably unlucky. Next 2 nights were peaceful and quiet. I really recommend Annie's place if anybody is planning to see Quimper and region. Even on very rainy day this town has something to offer!
