Lovely house, grounds and location. The kids loved the swimming pool and the play barn! Kitchen is well equipped. We had massages from Catherine who came to the house, which I would highly recommend! We were 4 adults and 6 kids from 1 yr old to 11 yrs old and it was a good size for us all. Need to take some care with the stairs and the little ones but fine once they got used to them. A lovely place

Peaceful Haven

What a treat to stay in this beautiful Brittany stone house. Our family loved the space and everyone had room to loose themselves. The grounds just absorbed us in beauty, light and shade of dappled trees and tranquil sunsets over yellow wheat fields, recently cut and bailed. We were back in time. The children loved the games barn and the pool was just right. The area is lovely and a local beach (20mins drive) recommended by Anne was perfect. Dinan, a must to visit, 8 minutes by car. It was the very best of places to celebrate my birthday.

Beautiful

We really enjoyed staying in this holiday home which was set in beautiful grounds. The children loved the play barn and we all enjoyed the swimming pool. It was a peaceful base to explore Brittany.

Magnifique Séjour

Un domaine magnifique alliant vieilles pierres et intérieur moderne et bien équipé. Calme absolu à proximité de sites touristiques magnifiques (Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Cap Frehel, Fort La Latte, Saint-Jacut, ...). Endroit parfait pour enfants et ados (salle de jeux et piscine top). Accueil parfait par Anne ! A recommander sans réserve !

Lovely house and garden

Super place to stay - pool perfect and barn with games etc was great for kids. Outside space the real highlight. Easy drive to village with bakery and bar. 7 mins to large supermarket. Not far to lovely beaches and Dinan. Anne was kind and helpful.

Tolle Tage in einem schönen Haus

Wir verbrachten mit einer befreundeten Familie eine tolle Zeit in diesem traditionellen Haus. Es fehlte an nichts und die Kinder genossen den Pool und die Spielscheune. Es ist ein riesiges Gelände mit vielen Tieren, Fußballplatz, Terasse....man braucht jedoch unbedingt ein Auto.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de passer ces vacances en famille dans ce très bel endroit. Le gîte était très bien équipé , il ne manquait rien. Les enfants avaient le privilège d’avoir une salle de jeux à l’étage ce qui était très appréciable et une grange où l’on pouvait profiter de tout (trampoline, badminton, trottinettes etc....) de plus, nous avons pu profiter des légumes du potager de Mme CHARRE. C’est une adresse à recommander.

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus, eine gute Ausstattung, familienfreundlich, viel Platz zum Bewegen.

Wir hatten mit zwei Familien sehr viel Platz und Raum für einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage, allerdings braucht man das Auto. Es gibt viel zu entdecken in einem Radius von ca. 50 km. Die nächste größere Stadt Dinan ist 5 Minuten entfernt und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Die Vermieterin Anne ist super nett und beantwortet jede Frage. Es war ein toller Urlaub und das Objekt ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Ein bisschen Pemberley...

Wir haben auf dem traumhaften Grundstück eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Die verwunschenen kleinen Wege, Wäldchen, Teiche und Bäche mit Bänken an den schönsten Stellen und der See, über den immer wieder ein Eisvogel flog, haben uns das Gefühl vermittelt, wir wären Gäste in einem schönen Film (z.B. auf Pemberley/ Jane Austen). Spontan haben wir einen weiteren Aufenthalt geplant. Die Kinder haben sehr gerne mit den Hunden gespielt. Die Spielscheune und der Pool sind ein Segen bei jedem Wetter. Das Haus selbst ist groß und sehr schön renoviert. Dankbar waren wir auch für den offenen Kamin, der es abends sehr gemütlich machte. Anne war eine sehr freundliche und angenehme Gastgeberin im Nachbarhaus. Vielen Dank für die tolle Woche mit Großeltern und vier Kindern.

The perfect escape

We were a group of seven, 5 adults and 2kids. The property is on 6 hectares, almost at the end of the village , very secluded. The owner (super friendly and attentive) welcome and guide us from the start to the end of our stay. . The property is gorgeous, the house is big,love the washer and dryer. The kids had a blast . Love to come back .

Wir sind mit 9 Personen angereist und hatten das größere der beiden Häuser. Was soll man sagen... ein Traum. Das ganze Gelände ist einfach Paradiesisch. Wir haben alle Möglichkeiten genutzt(Pool, Spielhalle etc.) die kleinen hatten Spaß beim Sammeln von Esskastanien.Die Umgebung mit St. Malo, Mont Saint Michel und der Broceliere aind wunderschön. Kann man nur Empfehlen.... Danke Anné😀

Super holiday home.

Lovely gite in extensive grounds with lots of things for the children...who spent most of the time running around outside entertaining themselves. The highlight of the week for the 2 year old was feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs in the evening - thanks to the kindness of the host Anne. Inside the house is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. There is a huge TV but sadly no access to english/american programmes. Thank goodness for the wifi. We did not go out everyday since the children were happy at the house. But we did visit Dinan which was lovely - and the seaside town of Dinard which was reminiscent of the english seaside towns of my childhood. The children also went to the Aquarium and the Zoo. My only regret is that I did not find the traditional french baguette of my memories despite extensive searching. We concluded that either British bread has improved significantly - or my memory is deceptive! On the way to the site we went via Portsmouth/Caen with a 2 hour drive down to Brittany. On our return we came back via St Malo which was much easier. If we go again to Quevert, we will book earlier to ensure a night sailing to St Malo.

Parfait!

Le séjour a été très agréable, on est tranquille dans ce beau domaine! Le gite est très bien! La piscine aussi! Le plus c'est les nombreux équipements (hangar + salle de jeu) pour occuper les enfants qui étaient aux anges pendant toute la durée du séjour. De plus la plage de Lancieux (à environ 20 minutes en voiture) est sympathique. Je recommande!

Picturesque cottage with fantastic host.

We absolutely loved our stay with Anne in Quevert. The property was gorgeous and located in a quiet, rural setting close by Dinan. The house was immaculate and had plenty of space. Our 2 year old loved the toy room and exploring the property and all the animals, especially the baby goat. Anne was wonderful to deal with and answered all our questions pre-stay and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

Super in allen Belangen - WLAN geht aber ist nicht besonders schnell

Wir sind häufig in Ferienhäusern - und dieses hier zählt zu dem besten, was wir bisher mieten durften. Das riesige Gelände mit kleinem Fußballplatz und der bombastischen Spielscheune. Drinen und Draußen genügend Platz und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und gut ausgestattet. Nette Vermieter und unkompliziertes Prozedere. Können nur schwärmen - Waren zu neunt da von 4 bis 70 Jahren. Ohne Auto ist man allerdings aufgeschmissen - oder man ist seeehr gut zu Fuß.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, vraiment! Tout était au rendez-vous: une maison très spacieuse située dans un cadre splendide, aménagée de façon moderne et confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité des aménagements: les cuisiniers trouveront un matériel nombreux et de qualité, les salles de bains sont modernes, les lits très confortables. Monsieur et Madame Charré nous font aussi partager les espaces autour du gîte, c'est un plaisir de s'y promener, d'aller rendre visite aux animaux, et d'admirer le potager. Avec une mention particulière pour la disponibilité discrète et la gentillesse de Madame Charré. Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu.
