Casa Cristal Exceeded Our Expectations

We spent a lovely four nights at Casa Cristal. The layout of the house was perfect for our extended family and the views are spectacular. Views of the ocean from every room. We enjoyed the infinity pool with swim up bar every afternoon and evening. We also enjoyed the monkey parade that showed up everyday on the terrace. So fun to watch. Alex was available at any time of the day to answer questions, make recommendations, and schedule tours. Rosie was also around daily to take care of the cleaning and laundry. We definitely would recommend and come back to Casa Cristal. Pura Vida!!

Amazing Views, Better Than Expected

The house was immaculate, the view was unbelievable and Rosie, the housekeeper, was top notch! The wildlife is all around the house and our whole family loved it. We loved every minute of our stay and would recommend to absolutely everyone.

Wonderful stay

Alex was awesome and so accommodating to our group. We had 3 families stay together. Location was very nice and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Rosie kept the house spotless. Our family has a great trip to Costa Rica and hope to return.

As with any listing, you always wonder if what you see in the photos will live up to the reality. This live up to the photos and then some! Beautiful location, amenities and extraordinary view! Alex was an excellent and attentive host, helping us coordinate chef services and activities. Every person we interacted with on the property was thoughtful and kind. The house was as gorgeous and luxurious as the pictures. Alex was responsive and Rosie was absolutely fantastic in keeping the place clean and meticulously doing all the laundry. Would highly recommend.

Great view and location!

Multigenerational family trip from 6-80. House was wonderful! Amazing views, pool and nearby beach. Steep walk but both young and old made it. The house staff and host were excellent. Highly recommend a meal or 2 with Glenda and Angelo. Overall, great stay, service views, and meals (the scrambled eggs were amazing)

Beautiful view

The view from this property is amazing. The home is well kept. Rosie, our housekeeper, kept the home spotless everyday and even washed our clothes. We always had clean pool and beach towels. Alex, our host, was very helpful in arranging our tours and taxis. He even helped for groceries delivered to us the evening we arrived in order for us to have breakfast items the next morning. The home is in a very hilly area. It was too hilly for us to walk for groceries or restaurants. A taxi ride was generally ten to fifteen dollars. The pool is amazing and the views were spectacular. We would definitely recommend this home.

Great vacation!

We just got back from Casa Cristal and are already thinking about going back. The house was as listed but the location was better than expected. Everything about it was beautiful. So much space to everyone. We didn't rent a car but walking to the beach and town was very convenient. The host, Alex, was very helpful in organizing the excursions we planned on doing and had transportation to and from activities. We hired a chef for a night and when we decided to add 3 more nights, he organized that as well. We went with our 2 sons and their girlfriends that are twentysomething and we all thought it was the best vacation ever. All of us want to go back and would definitely stay here again!

Paradise in Costa Rica

We sooo loved this house and area. Our family of 9 and three generations enjoyed the view, the pool, the house, the occasional visits of monkeys, sloth, iguanas, and birds Alex was a wonderful host and helped us before to plan tours, during by ordering transportation and ordering groceries, etc. and he lined up transportation from and to the airport in San Jose. He was the best! We loved Rosie the maid. We all wanted to take her home with us. She kept the home sparkling clean and even washed our clothes. The chef service was also a nice touch- Glenda prepared three delicious dinners including lobsters for a Thanksgiving feast. We loved everything about this home and the attentive staff. We all already miss Costa Rica and Casa Cristal- we will return!!!

Great views, gorgeous home, excellent location

We stayed as a family of six - grandparents, parents and teen/kids and very much enjoyed this property. The house is very beautiful and well appointed, with lots of living spaces to hang out inside and out. The views are spectacular and we saw many birds and monkeys from the balcony overlooking the ocean. Rosy, the housekeeper, does an excellent job keeping everything tidy and does laundry every day! Alex, the property manager, is very helpful and offers help with whatever you request. Would recommend.

Perfect in every way!

The house is perfect, the views are perfect, Alex and his team were perfect! The house pics do not due the "views" justice, they are better IRL. The beach was fantastic (about a 10 min walk...a bit uphill on the way back). Alex set up several day trips and chef nights for us...extremely seamless! The area of Manuel Antonio was amazing. We will be coming back.

Unforgettable Vacation; Batteries Fully Recharged!

Our family recently stayed at Casa Cristal in Quepos, Manuel Antonio, marking our fourth visit to Costa Rica but our first with teenage children. Casa Cristal exceeded all our expectations, providing the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The house itself is stunning, with well-appointed rooms and a beautiful pool that became a daily retreat for our family. The housekeeper and the entire property staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was both comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our trip was hiring Chef Cristopher Mora Mora as our personal chef. Chef Cris and his crew were outstanding, creating delicious and beautifully presented meals that catered to our every need. His expertise and passion for cooking shone through in every dish, making each meal a culinary adventure. Having Chef Cris cook for us was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our vacation. The location of Casa Cristal is another significant advantage. Its proximity to the beach and town made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. We spent our days enjoying the stunning beaches, exploring local shops, and immersing ourselves in the vibrant culture of Quepos. Living with a million dollar view

My 3 siblings with our spouses spent 8 days at Casa Cristal and the Villa made a great vacation outstanding. The initial entry shows a magnificent view of the Pacific from Manuel Antonio almost to Quepos. The spacious 4/5 bedrooms were more than enough for our 8 people and the kitchen/living and upstairs grill area provided space for all of us to spread out. While the facilities were great, what really made our stay was the people. The maid took care of all the housekeeping including washing all our clothes, the chefs we hired made outstanding meals and the best was the host --- who took care of every single desire and need, extremely promptly. It was a holiday we will never forget and we DO plan to come back to this place.

Very nice

Beautiful house and view! Chef was great! Cleaner worked really hard and was there for about 6 hours each day. Manager was very receptive. A little strange that there were several security cameras throughout the house. I just unplugged the one in master bedroom and moved the angles at the a few others so they weren’t pointed at us. I assume it was to monitor the property but just thought it was unusual. Overall a wonderful place to stay and I’m happy we booked it. I would recommend 4 wheel drive if you want to drive up and down the hill to the beach.

Monkeys in Paradise

The house & views were even better than we imagined! We loved that of the 3 master bedrooms, 1 was on the main floor with the kitchen and living area so no steps for us grandparents! Downstairs were 2 more masters, a set of bunkbeds (not in a bedroom). Then when you go out the master to the balcony, you can go over to the "apartment" that was a bedroom with 2 beds and a private bath. The kitchen had everything you could think of! We loved cooking while enjoying the ocean views. The street down to the house was extremely narrow and bumpy! It's only a 10 minute walk DOWN to the beach. The hike back UP to the house is definitely a hike! We ended up catching a taxi on the beach to get us back to the house. The housekeeper was a treasure! Not only did she clean all day, every day, she also did our laundry! What a treat to come in & have our clean laundry folded & waiting for us! Now to the REAL treasure, Alex the Host! He handled everything for us including making sure we had dinner and groceries for breakfast when our flight got delayed & we didn't make it in until late the first night. He handled all of our tours for us including letting us know when they would pick us up & what the cost was. Each time I had a question I would reach out to him and within minutes he would get back to me. The pool was fabulous! It looks out over the ocean & has a swim up bar & barstools! There is construction going on across the street so we heard trucks going in & out but wasn't a big deal.

Beautiful home with stunning views

This home exceeded our expectations. It has an awesome infinity pool and BBQ area with amazing views of the beach and sunsets. The beautiful, almost private beach is a short walk away. Alex was a great host We would highly recommend this property!! It was so relaxing.

This place is as advertised and still mind blowing once you get there. Alexander, Rosi, and the cooking staff were awesome. This place is magical and it’s hard not to have a good time. Pura Vida!
