Cute Cottage with Hot Tub & Uninterrupted Lake Views

  • The cottage is superbly renovated and situated in an Alpine location, with uninterrupted views across Lake Wakatipu. Located in a private setting, only ten minutes from Queenstown along world famous Glenorchy Road, it is perfect as a couples retreat or take advantage of our additional unique spaces to make this home ideal for groups or families.

    This is the perfect home away from home, in which to relax after an adventurous day out experiencing all that the Queenstown region has to offer.

    •Spacious relaxing lounge with fire, leading to covered deck with outdoor dining for up to 8 guests.

    • Bathroom with walk in rain shower and under floor heating.

    • Generous master bedroom with king bed, facing a huge picture window showcasing the spectacular views over the lake and surrounding mountains

    • Ideally located private Jacuzzi, with postcard views of the lake and mountains

    • Large screen LCD TV and Bluetooth stereo in the lounge, with local Freeview channels as well as Netflix available on request.

    • Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bench seating and all amenities should you like to take a break from our famous restaurants.

    • Outdoor living and dining area with Four Burner Gas BBQ

    • Laundry facilities, including washing machine, iron and ironing board all included.

    Rates include complimentary wireless internet & local phone calls.

    Snug
    Our comfortable snug, in the cottage itself, is available to sleep an additional two guests in a double bed. If not used as an additional bedroom, this is a great place to relax with a book and soak up the mountain views through the double doors onto the deck.

    Sleep out
    Our converted Silver Planet Airstream 1950’s caravan, adjacent to the cottage, has been fully renovated and converted into a spectacular sleep out with queen bed and cozy finish. Perfect for additional guests and can sleep two guests comfortably. (Whilst it is comfortable all year round, our sleep out may not be suitable in winter for those who aren’t accustomed to the Queenstown chill.)

Communication with Jason was excellent. Property had everything that we needed. Great location and great views. Very relaxing. Hot tub was an extra bonus. Also great to hear the birds and see the rabbits in the garden. I would highly recommend.

Jason has an incredible cottage just outside of Queenstown. It was clean and inviting with a wood burning fire for the cold days and a gorgeous deck for the sunny days. Perfect for two couples!

This cottage is awesome. The view from porch is breathtaking. We had a wonderful stay. It is so peaceful and relaxing and we loved the wine and chocolate welcome gift waiting for us upon arrival. We will definitely book again next time we are in New Zealand.

Great cottage, spectacular views

The property was impeccably maintained, with a thoughtful welcome gift from the hosts for my wife & me. The view of Lake Wakatipu is breathtaking, and so are the stars from the hot tub at night. Absolutely recommend to anyone.

Great Relaxation Spot

Such a great place to relax and chillout for a week. Great views across the lake and to the mountains, particularly from the spa which was such a treat. It was great having the wood fire which we used a couple of times. Loved that it was close to Queenstown and far from the maddening tourists. Loved the fresh herbs to cook with. Definitely recommend to all and we have booked in again for 2025.

We've been staying in the cottage for a week, and enjoyed every day! Has great views from the 'living room' and also from the main bedroom. Location is great too, far away from the hustle-bustle in Queenstown but close enough to be able to visit it in just a short ~10 mins drive. Would stay there again. Absolutely!

Cozy Cottage Hideaway

A home away from home. A wonderful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown yet only 10 minutes down the road. The best of both worlds. When not relaxing in the hot tub, reading by the fire, or enjoying the every changing landscape, we enjoyed some much needed home cooking prepared in the well equipped kitchen. We really appreciated the welcome goodies - thank you.

Views to die for and so clean

This is a property on the more expensive end but when we arrived we really felt like it was value for money. The views are stunning and the property is very nicely decorated with quality linens and fittings. Treats on arrival were also a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous piece of Queenstown with us. Easy drive to Qtown for dinners and enjoyed a sunrise at Moke Lake due to close location. 5 stars.

Unbelievable beautiful and peaceful

Jason's place is like a little pocket of heaven. Not far out of Queenstown with lots of peace and quiet. Stunning view from porch and from the huge upstairs window. Lovely in the hot tub in the evening. With a view over the garden to the lake... Snow capped mountains in the distance. Check in was super easy. Would love to stay there again. Thank you !

Perfect Getaway

A very good American friend of mine told me when he ever finds a wonderful place he never divulges to anyone where it is as next time you go it’s full of Americans!! Well I’m telling everyone because it should be shared by everyone. Lovely fireplace, superb beds, lovely views and incredible private. Cooked dinner on the BBQ and enjoyed the wine on the super great chairs. Go you won’t be disappointed and the special welcome message and wonderful gifts were a real treat. Thanks you Jason & Scott for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect get away 🧖‍♀️🏡🍾

I am so happy I chose this place for celebrating my 30th with few of my girlfriends. Place was very tidy. We found little notice from owner on the glass front door what was very cute. As a compliment was great to get a bottle of Procecco, chocolate Lint and some bread! Place had 2 beds (bedroom upstairs) and bed downstairs near staircase (beautiful spot). Bathroom was pretty big, no bath but good shower. We appreciate amazing outdoor spot with table on the deck with a view on the lake. Very important to read all information in book on the table in the kitchen as it says all instructions and how to use and clean spa (so easy). It was very good place for get away. Thanks for owners to putting love into it 👍
