If you want to experience the Australian outback then a stay at Ross River Resort is one of the ways you could do it. It's near some of the lesser known attractions where buses don't go. A few kilometres either side are a couple of national parks but this rock outcrop is actually on their property. I was fortunate enough to be taken out there just after dawn to get this shot of what they call The Sphinx. They're lovely people by the way, the ones that run the resort.
