"Mariposa Villa was very clean, all systems and appliances were working well, and the property manager attended to our needs very responsively. Our stay was restful and restaurants nearby were fantastic. "This house is spectactular! We stayed here with our kids and another family in early April 2025. We enjoyed seeing more than 30 scarlet macaws each morning flying and roosting in the trees right beside the house, with the sunrise and mountains in the background. This is one of the only areas in Costa Rica where scarlet macaws can be found in the wild. We also saw a toucan and many iguanas on the property. "The host rolled out the red carpet for us! We decided to pay for a driver, and it was the best decision we made. Roberto, was beyond awesome!! He made our stay so great! He was personable and taught us a lot about Costa Rica. Anything you need, he makes it happen!! Don't book without adding him to your vacation. The house was fabulous, like we were in a movie. "For a family reunion of 9, this house was perfect - near groceries, restaurants, shops, surfing beach but complete with pool in beautiful garden, shaded terrace with fans to cool off and enjoy each other. The cousins were delighted to go in and out of the pool several times per day, playing with each other. "This unique home was perfect & private in the jungle with direct ocean view and breezes and views of Playa Órganos which is short walk from the Dome. There are several other beaches within few minutes that we checked out and learned of a couple nearby waterfalls that we plan to visit next time. We enjoyed the sunrises & wildlife all around us all times of the day, and were able to open up the front of dome to enjoy breezes inside. "If you are a large family this is a great place. Great views from patio close to beaches, town and all the activities you want without a 3hr drive. Natalia was so easy to work with. We used her to book all our activities and she did not disappoint. They all where awesome and worth the money. Highly recommend the Chef service. Can’t say enough! Food was amazing and no cleaning for a fam of 17 worth every dime!"
