⚡️ ELECTRICITY:

Electricity is included in the stay with a daily consumption limit, calculated according to the number of bedrooms on the property:

- 3 bedrooms: 25 kWh ~ USD 5 / day

Surplus: In case of exceeding the included consumption, an additional 30 USD per 100 kWh surplus will be charged, which can be fractionated proportionally according to actual consumption (e.g. additional 50 kWh = USD 15). The collection will be handled by request through Airbnb.

💡Tips for reducing consumption:
• Turn off lights, air conditioners and appliances when leaving or when not being used.
• Set the air conditioning between 22°C and 24°C.
• Keep doors and windows closed when using air conditioning.
• Do not leave chargers or devices connected if they are not in use.

ELECTRIC RADIANT 🔥 SLAB:

In accommodations that have electric radiant slab, it is important to know that their use is not contemplated within the electricity consumption included in the stay.

⭕️ Why is it not included?
The radiant slab is one of the most comfortable heating systems, but also one that consumes the most electrical energy, especially if used incorrectly or left on continuously.

Home Delivery:
By default, the slab is delivered deactivated at check-in. If the guest wishes to enable it, it must be expressly requested, and specific measurements of the meter will be taken before and after use to calculate the exact additional cost.

💰 Estimated consumption of slab use and costs for number of bedrooms:

There is then an estimated daily consumption in moderate use and intensive use. The amounts are as a suggestion and could vary down or up.

🛁 ABOUT HOT WATER:

In Uruguay, most homes - including this accommodation - use electric thermotanques to heat the water. Unlike other countries like Brazil (where electric shower is used) or Argentina (with gas boilers), the hot water here is not unlimited.

The thermo-tank works like a thermal accumulator: it stores a certain amount of water that keeps hot by a resistance. Depending on the size of the equipment, hot water available can reach for:
• 1 long shower,
• 2 short showers in a row,
• or 3 short showers if paused between them.

Once the hot water runs out, the thermotanque needs approximately 30-60 minutes to fully heat it again.

✅ Recommendations: If several people are showered, it is ideal to leave an interval between bathroom and bathroom so that the thermotanque has time to recover the temperature. In large groups, it is important to devise some logistics to avoid the need to shower one after another.
