Pukehina Beach Studio with Balcony and Majestic views

Private, spacious and airy Studio with the extra space {12m2} of a partially covered balcony, over a garage in Pukehina. Views of the white sand ocean beach and shallow tidal estuary. Hear the waves as you relax. NO WiFi. Pukehina is often described as "Paradise created by Nature" and we believe it certainly is!
En-suite bathroom (shower). Closet. 2 single beds that can be pushed together. Full sized dining table inside and on the balcony. Linen and towels provided.
No kitchen sink but basic utensils and facilities to make hot drinks (tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk provided), toast or heat ready-to-eat pre-prepared or frozen meals in a microwave. Drying rack for clothes.
Every guest has different needs so do let us know if you require anything and we will do our best to provide.
Dog friendly non-leash beach and estuary, only the bird sanctuary, beyond the surf club is a no dog area.
Private entrance to Studio. Large garage available for storage. Off street parking in driveway. Not overlooked by main house. Walk past owner's home to a grassed area with chairs and down sand ladder to beach. Outside hot shower and hose available for use after beach activities. Body boards available.
Monty's Cafe and Bar, just a short walk from the Studio, serve meals, coffee and occasionally a band for entertainment. A dairy at the start of the Parade is well stocked and provides takeaway meals.
Outdoor activities are water sports, bird watching, a sports field, boat ramp, tennis court, skate park, BMX track, flying fox, several children's play areas and in season Surf Lifesaving. A level footpath, approximately 6 km runs along the entire length of the no exit peninsula. Street lighting. A popular wedding venue.

Closest shopping is Te Puke (kiwifruit capital of the world) or Pāpāmoa, which provide all needs. Tourist attractions of Whakatane, Maketū, Mount Maunganui and Rotorua are close by.

If you are seeking a beach location that is more peaceful than Papamoa Beach or Mount Maunganui in a rustic setting then this is the perfect spot for you. Please note there is no Internet but phone reception is good, there are steps up to the Studio and a slope down to the beach and road.

wow!! absolutely beautiful location and accommodation, the photos on the website really don't due justice to the incredible views and super easy access to the beach!! Lovely hosts, friendly and very welcoming, lovely to have extras, coffee, tea, sugar, milk supplied, all the things you forget to take. Our puppy absolutely loved his time at the beach and so great to have him with us and not only were we super well accommodated, so was he with own water bowl. Will definitely stay again and fully recommend this holiday option. Thanks so much for a fab weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay - Halina and her partner are exceptional hosts and the location is truly paradise. We loved going back to basics without internet and cooking facilities (bbqing our way through the long weekend on the balcony with ocean views). We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a remote getaway in a stunning location!

We so enjoyed our stay at Pukehina. The location was exceptional. We had everything we needed at the apartment - not having cooking facilities was not an issue. Friendly and helpful hosts. Great water pressure for shower. Loved the deck to sit and relax. Comfortable beds. Well stocked with everything e.g. coffee, towels etc Thanks for an amazing stay. Absolutely loved it xxx

We booked in as we were visiting our Uncle and Aunty who also lived in Pukehina, and wanted to be able to bring our dog too. Very hospitable hosts, great location and love that our dog was accomodated for- even a fresh bowl of water was left on the deck for her. Thanks so much 😊

We were looking for an overnight stay with Dog. Owners were very accommodating. They had water bowl ready for dog on covered deck. The Deck was suitable for dog to sleep on overnight in her own bed. The Description of the Studio on booking site was very accurate
