"We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. "The room was wonderful and bedding was great. Beautiful well maintained/restored historic property at the edge of a cute little town. Unfortunately midweek, the on-site restaurant and pub were closed, but there were a couple other options down the street. Absolutely delightful staff, very pleasant and accommodating."

"Wonderful hotel that makes an extra effort. The check in was easy and nice touches like watermelon water available, there was a board that highlighted the breakfast the following day. For breakfast they had both a waffle and a pancake maker, whipped cream and even chocolate sprinkles. Along with a pretty decent frittata and potatoes. Plenty of other options including cereal, toast, and (packaged) muffins. Room was quiet and beds and bedding were clean and comfortable."

"Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. "
