"This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. "This gets a top rating due to the service & hospitality. The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks. Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order. They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok. The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open."
