"Could not ask for a better stay in Nafplio than at the Epoch House. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, had great restaurant recommendations, assisted us with dinner reservations and helped arrange transportation to and from local excursions. "My partner and I stayed in the top floor room with the terrace. There was a fantastic view of Palamidi Fortress which glowed in golden hour, and you could catch the sunset from the far end. Free parking was very close with many available spaces. The host is very welcoming and friendly. He supplied a map with great recommendations for restaurants, bars, cafes and brunch spots. "Unique lodging experience for those looking for an adventure! If you're carrying heavy bags, there's parking near by but the last ~5-10 mins are only reachable by foot (it's in an entirely walking-only part of town). It felt safe even late at night. The rooms are beautiful and super clean, and staff is very responsive."
