Charming, Private, 1600SF 1860s West End Provincetown House and Garden

Our private home is located on Montello Street in a quiet West End of Provincetown neighborhood 2 blocks to Commercial Street. This 1600 sq ft renovated 1860's home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathroom with beautiful wide pine and oak wood floors. The house was built by boat builders and the stairs to the second floor are very steep (please see the photos). The house has 2-zone central AC/heat. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with ceiling fan. Master Bedroom has a sitting room with a full futon couch. There is a washer/dryer found in the basement. Views of Provincetown monument can be seen from the second floor. The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, electric appliances, wood cabinets, and a large farmhouse sink. The fully-tiled master bathroom has a special claw foot soaking tub with overhead skylights and a walk-in steam shower. The brick patio has redwood furniture and charcoal grill next to the private garden. There is parking for 2 cars on premises and 2 cars on street. Available only Sunday to Sunday weekly rentals

Cape Cod Charm at its best

Spacious dwelling in a superb location in the quiet west end of town. Ease of access to beach, restaurants and all of town. The sitting room in front of the master is a great office/yoga room! One of the best equipped kitchens I have ever rented. Beautiful outdoor space for reading, cooking, and relaxing!

Loved loved loved this home! Can’t say enough good things about it. Location, comfort, decor, convenience - all unsurpassed. We’ll definitely stay again. It even has bunnies roaming the lovely backyard.

What a delightful stay! This historical house in Provincetown was everything my friends and I look for. It's truly charming, impeccably clean, and perfectly situated right off the main strip. Only a couple of things were questionable! - you need to fully disclose the “steep stairs” to the upper two bedrooms!! Old or young these are too difficult to maneuver. You need an ironing board and new iron. Bedrooms were nice and bathrooms too! All in all nice stay.

Another great summer vaca

25 Montello has been our Ptown home for a week getaway for several years now. Location is the best, the home is clean and bright, and owners are excellent hosts and quick to respond to any questions that have come up.

Secluded but central West End cottage

I’ve stayed at the Montello St cottage four times in recent summers. It’s a charming, well-equipped two story house with a lovely green garden, a five walk to everything: bay beach, Joe’s Coffee, Liz’s Cafe, Boat Slip, gym. Homey and well laid out with privacy for all three bedroom suites and excellent central AC, Montello St is perfect HQ for a week with friends.

Just the best location

This house has a lot of charm. It was nice staying in home that had a lot of the old finishing touches. It was great having a bathroom attached to each bedroom. The ONLY change I would make would be to install black out blinds or curtains on the windows. It was tough sleeping in after a late night..lol Host was the most responsive I've ever had and we have already re-booked for next years stay!

Great Location and Responsive Owner

This was our third year staying in the property, and we return because it’s a perfectly located properties with the amenities we need. We did have a minor issue with a water leak this year, but the owner was super responsive and got the problem addressed within 24 hours with no disruption to our vacation.

A real gem

This house was fantastic. Having a bedroom and bath on the first floor were ideal for me and my husband, who has back issues and would have had difficulty navigating the steep stairs. Our more limber friends stayed in the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen (nicer than my own!) was fully stocked, and the furnishings throughout were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the six of us. The morning after we arrived, the internet went out. After trying the usual unplug the modem/wait/plug back in method several times to no avail, I contacted the owner who responded immediately had a repair person come out that day, and everything was up and running by early afternoon. (It turns out a squirrel had chewed up the cable.) The entrance to the basement (where the washer/dryer is) is from the backyard, but that turned out not to be a problem at all. They also had some beach chairs and beach blankets we could use. Overall, it was a great stay. We'd go back again.

Repeat Visit

We stayed here last summer and were very happy with the house, especially the location… so obviously we came back this summer. Steep stairs to the second floor so not good for children or those with mobility issues… but perfect for friends or couple who want a separate bathroom for each bedroom.

Historical Gem

Wonderful property and owners! We were a group of 3 couples and we absolutely loved staying at Jorge's beautiful historical house. The house is in a perfect location to enjoy all that Provincetown has to offer. Park your car and you can walk anywhere!
