Family getaway

We had an awesome stay in Kauai!! And this house checked all our boxes minus a pool but it did have a hot tub so after we braved hiking makaleha the hot tub was an absolute necessity!!! There were a few things that need some work on the house but noting these things with the host were received very well and they were very grateful! I would highly recommend this house to anyone!!

A True Gem

We sincerely loved everything about our stay! This home was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautiful! The kitchen flowed so nicely and it made cooking that much more enjoyable! We stayed with our 6 children ages 17-26 and they loved everything about it! We will definitely be back!

Hawaii Wedding Trip

This home is open and spacious. The rooms are laid out beautifully to allow plenty of space for family to gather and/or retreat if they wish. The bedrooms were all spacious and confortable. The kitchen is very well appointed, you will find almost anything you could need. Thank you for the use of this beautiful home - our families all enjoyed it.

Amazing stay In Princeville

This property was an amazing. Spacious with all sorts of features to enjoy. Equipped with everything you need from a day at the beach to a nice bicycle ride to the local shopping area.

We loved it!!!

This trip is ourfirst time going Hawaii. We were having 2nd thoughts on using VRBO since we have a big family...we decided to just go for it.. We came across this property....and OHHHH MAAAANN....so glad that we did! Such a wonderful property to stay in if you have large family! Everything you need is in the house. The property is really clean and you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Although its far from the location where all the activities are...but man you wont regret staying inthis property...it really feels like you are in Hawaii....backyard has a superb view of the mountains! Ohhh...just excellent. Just make sure to reach out to the host before 5pm because you will.not get an answer til the next day. Thats the only bad part but not a bad experience at all with the host. If you message during normal working hours you will get reaponse right away. Otherwise....I would recommend this property to everyone who is looking for cozy VRBO....We Loved it!!!!! Mahalo!

Coral Hale

Everything was as expected. We have a large family and we all fit comfortably in a beautiful, tropical and majestic place. Kauai is truly the garden isle-especially the north shore.

Beautiful location

We just loved the residence. Had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy the beach. Even some weight equipment. Beautiful area to run - and walk over to some restaurants and shops. Upstairs became a little warm - our girls didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful home and beautiful location

If you have eight to 10 people in your group, you probably couldn't find a nicer home than was the Coral Hale and the views were to die for. Princeville is a fantastic area on the North side of Kauai and this home makes everything the North Shore has available very accessible.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location

Our group of seven adults loved this beautiful and big Princeville home! The views from the back lanai and hot tub are so stunning and very peaceful. The bedrooms are simple, comfy, and clean, and the kitchen is very spacious and overall well stocked for a vacation home. We also loved the living room and game room for hanging out and relaxing together. The house is walking distance from the little town center with Foodland, Tiki Iniki, a few small restaurant/counter service spots, boutiques, and more - then a short 5-10 minute drive into Hanalei, as well as many gorgeous beaches. We would definitely stay in this area and this house again. Thanks so much!

Very well pleased. Are stay could not have been better.

The house is very inviting. Lots of room for our large group of 10. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you need. Bring for Frisbee discs to enjoy the golf Couse. Lots of extras in the garage for the beach and adventures. I would love to stay again. Thank you so much Steve

Great for our group of 9

The house is incredibly spacious and provided all the supplies we could ask for. Everything was exactly as described on the website. We always felt safe, as it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, and there is shopping center very close by, so we were always within walking distance (or bike or razor scooter) to the Foodland grocery store. It was great starting each morning with the beautiful view from the lanai and ending the evening with some time in the jacuzzi. We did a lot of muddy hiking, so having the washer/dryer was an incredible feature. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

Maintenance issues

The property is absolutely beautiful, however upon arrival we noticed the floors and counters were not cleaned, there was left over food in the cupboards and fridge, there were some maintenance issues with appliances, (fridge and dryer) the hot tub was not at the proper chlorine level according to the spa maintenance guy and it was “funky” according to him, we found this out after we had used it a few times. There was a leak with the ceiling that raises safety concerns as the water pools on the tile floor and caused a guest to slip and fall. We were also down a shower. I understand these things do happen, however according to the maintenance personnel that came to “fix” the issue mentioned that it is an ongoing problem that they can’t figure out. It would have been appreciated if we would have had a warning about the leak. We lost food in the beginning of our stay because of a torn seal on the fridge that we found out has also been and ongoing problem, but thankfully the company brought over a new fridge and reimbursed us for lost food. Thank you to Kevin for helping us during our stay!

Quiet residential vibes

The house and hot tub was great. Garage had lots of supplies for beach which was great appreciated. The kitchen also had a lot of supplies to cook with. Air conditioning worked great down stairs and in master bedroom. The upstairs rooms could get warm at times. I may be the only person to ever assume this, however when the listing says “scooters” it means children razor scooters. I was under the incorrect impression it was Vespas.

Great for a group

I stayed here for a week with a large group of friends. The place was perfect - clean, very modern, and the location is great, right next to a Food land for groceries and a handful of good restaurants.

Beautiful location, comfortable house

We stayed here with multiple family members for seven nights. This house has multiple amenities and conveniences that made beach going easy. This place is readily accessible to grocery stores. Take out options are limited in this area so we found ourselves cooking most nights. My favorite part was having coffee on the back patio in the mornings while looking at the mountains and waterfalls in the distance. I highly recommend this place anyone wanting to stay with multiple family members.

Beautiful house with gorgeous views

This property was perfect for our family of 6. The living room had lovely high ceilings with large sliding doors to the patio. The best part of the house had to be lanai, soaking in the gorgeous views of the golf course and the mountains. The house is walking distance from a lot of restaurant and a grocery store. Eric the property manager was very responsive and helped us with whatever we needed. Mahalo!!

Great place to stay

This house fit our family perfectly. It’s a spacious home. Our feet did get black from the floor. But when I wiped the kitchen the floor It was clean. Not sure the rest of the house gets mopped though. But everything else was very clean. Grateful for the other reviews that said to bring your own soaps and shampoos. We did and were glad we had them. They provide none of that. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and patio. Such a beautiful view. Everyone loved the bikes and scooters. Alexa was fun. The only thing I had an issue with was when the girls had all picked their rooms I helped my teenage son up to his room and was shocked to see two drawings of naked women in there. I had to take them down for the duration of our stay. Not everyone enjoys that kind of stuff. Other than that, this was the perfect house. Thank you for making our stay so great!

A Kauai Treat Except......

Let me first start (before my concern) by saying the house is amazing; has all of the amenities we needed. The location is perfect (except for the next 6 months). We cooked every night as it was peaceful then. The kitchen is fully stocked, and we used much of it. The bedrooms provided comfort and privacy. The deck provided a great view of the Woods Course. A great breeze at night. When we arrived we found out that the neighbor had started a complete remodel of the house next door. The noise was horrendous and made it very difficult to be at the home during the day so we were gone and missed a big part of why we came. Part of our intent was to relax at the home, but the noise was so rough I begged to only hear the roosters (no one begs to hear the roosters on Kauai). I made contact with Kim with the reservations department and she said contacted the property manager and she would call me. I never received that call. I then reached out to Kahea (the property manager) on 2 separate occasions and included an audio of the noise we were facing and asked her to please return my call. She did not. The measure of a good company is not how they handle things when things go right because that is how things are supposed to go. The measure of a company is how things are handled when things go wrong. Now I understand that the property manager didn't plan for the disruption with the house next door, and the neighbors (whom I spoke with) didn't intend to chase us out of the home during the day. However, that was the result. I am never one to ask for a discount as I figure Karma always takes care of itself; however, this time was different. I felt it appropriate to meet in the middle from a cost standpoint because our trip was disrupted by that and then some. I felt 50/50 was fair considering the circumstances. To Kim's credit, I did receive a 15% discount as that was the best she could do with the business algorithm she was given. She felt our pain. I had to figure out who the property manager was and she was having nothing to do with our concern. Has Kauai been infiltrated this much that the margin comes over people? If there is no Aloha, there is no more spirit of the greatest island on the planet. I travel to Kauai very often for pleasure and for charity work, and as nice as the house is I don't see myself using Hawaii Life Vacations in the future. May our Mana remain strong and giving through those we touch and enhance our spirit of good and strength.
